I have no clue. Most pro's are in their 30's
I don't think you will ever get any fact on this only speculation.
A better question is how many of those who started because they wanted to become body builders, how many made it? I'm guessing about .05%?

I don't know about body builders but........
Many Athletes start in their first year of college
Most of the competitors I know started around 17 or 18. But none of them went fully pro, and they've largely given up on their dream and work blue collar jobs now.
They use steroids?
I think they ALL waited until their mid 20's when their hormonal systems were fully develop
(what did you EXPECT me to say to an 18 year old?)
