New to ALL of this
I don't want to gain in size, but do want strength, endurance, and to get ripped. Friends tell me to take tren , for a minimum 12 week cycle, I mostly do crossfit type of workouts that mostly involve bodyweight and kettle bells, don't like Olympic lifts at all, 40 yrs of age and just looking to gain some of that youth feeling of not gassing out and feeling strong. Notice most threads on here are for size gains, bodybuilding type of use, does anyone have any advice? Anyone tried just a tren/ eq stack?

To say it nicely your friend is an idiot. Either he has no clue what he is talking about or he is trying to screw you up. If he has no idea then he should not be giving potentially dangerous advice.
What do you think about your friend is pointing you down the road to having ED and using one of the harshest steroids out there? Doesnt sound like a very good friend.

your diet determines almost everything.
You eat and train to bulk up.
You diet to cut up.
Feed your body the correct fuel and it will get to where you need to be.
Steroids like tren is NOT something you want to mess with a lot of sides attached and for the inexperienced user can cause major side effects some not reversible.
Read the link Lovbyts posted and all threads at top on questions and answers section so you will have a wealth of knowledge and can make your own decisions not letting someone else suggest crap.

just a Tren/eq stack is a poor choice based on a few things.
what are your stats?
first cycle = test only
all cycles need to include test, regardless.
you mention nothing about your nutrition plan, which is more critical than most believe.
post your nutrition plan in the nutrition section for us to see and critique.

Steroids are not a quick fix. Nutrition and training will determine your results more than anything in a syringe or pill.
Start with outlining your nutrition and training plans as TR requested. That's where the initial effort needs to be and the greatest success will come from.
Steroids come later, much later, and you never start with tren.
