alcohol while on cycle?
do you consume alcohol while on cycle? (i know most obvious answer is no)
but yesterday was my 23th birthday and my friends want to take me somewhere. Will I feel like shit if take a couple drinks? (2 weekns into a 500 test e cycle)
advice is always appreciated.

you'll be fine. If you aren't a chronic alcoholic and don't get hammered every weekend the occasional indulgence won't hurt unless you are competing or have the super strict mindset to get as big as humanly possible before you die. Just take some precautions, get sufficient water in before bed as well as quality food so you don't feel like shit in the morning and if need be schedule an off day after. It's your birthday, have fun. I barely ever get hangovers on test, but I don't just drink black and out wake up somewhere. lol

manage to your macros
alcohol is 7 calories per gram of carb
plus all the sugary shit they put in there
plus people cheat on their diet when drinking
plus you will be less likely to even go to the gym the next day
there is nothing stopping you from going out, and you should. Maybe you should be the designated driver, and just drink tonic water with a lemon twist.

I equate it with eating doughnuts while trying to diet/cut. Not tragic, but certainly counterproductive.

The problem with me with alcohol is that the buzz you get from alcohol interferes with the same reward areas of the brain that gives you the mental rewards from exercise. So when you hit the gym the day afterwards, for me at least, it's just not the same...it's not as rewarding and I don't feel near as good as when I'm clean. I have lots of friends who drink and that's fine. I would probably do it if it wouldn't destroy my next day motivation, but it does, so I don't.
