hematocrit
If your hematocrit is a little high can you still give blood at blood bank? 52.6% range 37-51

Depends on the bank. Call them or check their website to see their limitations. 52.6 is probably borderline. Where I used to go, you'd be rejected. Even though that is not dangerous.

Im checking out my blood donation centers and there is nothing about high hematocrit levels. Just low.
Do they test your blood before the draw? From what im reading it sounds like they take some samples for testing after drawing the pint.

Yes. They prick your finger and test it on site. Call them. and yes, blood is not transferred to another person without being inspected.
