I've done it many times when I run out of 1" pins. It works, it's just not optimal.

Same here. Takes a long time to get that sucker full of oil too.

I have never tried it but assuming you can get the compound through the tiny needle I imagine it would work okay. If anything it would force you to inject slowly as you should. I think I could get deep enough in my delts to do that since I have fairly low body fat. It wouldn't be my first choice though and I always overstock so I don't end up in one of those situations.

Just use a 27ga 1/2" pin. You'll be fine with smaller amounts. I'll use it for glutes as well.

What about 29ga 1/2 1ml would be alright?

I've used 29x1/2" , no problems. Gotta be lean. Push hard enough to dimple the skin some, to get a bit deeper. Oil flows out easily, due to the narrow barrel. If you have a larger gauge 3ml, backload the insulin barrel with that. Makes the loading go much faster...

FYI my test e works in a 30 gauge insulin needle if I warm the test. But I have European castor oil base, and I have no idea how the viscosity compares to what is used in the US.

I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that u have to be lean enough for the injection to be successful. So for anyone knew who is afraid of the bigger gauge pins please don't think this is a green light for smaller pins unless your bodyfat is low.

Slin pins are the best in my opinion. Less scar tissue, less oil injected. Less possibility to catch a vein. I only used bigger pins in my first cycle. Then only 29g gauge 1ml. no problem if oil gets subq. There are many people injecting TRT test subq right now, because of the scartissue. 1ml no problem. Do slin pins, you will like it, and your muscles will thank you.

    Agreed. Exception would be TRT.

TRT guys usually do it. I have only injected HCG and various peptides subq.

SQ doesn't work well with larger volume injections.

The numbers vary really. My grad school always preached 2ml at any one time. I couldn't imagine doing 2ml subq though so I have always disagreed. Then you have others who say not to go over .5-.6ml. I would tend to agree with the lower end of that. Every time I get over half a ml I always get an uncomfortable lump. It can be done, just not as trouble free.

I do trt sub q. .350ml leaves a noticeable lump in the live handles, no lump in the glute.

I use a 27g 1/2". I can use the same pin for a delt IM injection and that's about it. I'm around 16%

0.6ml is the max I would inject subQ. Less than that with oil bases.

Fwiw I've done .350 test and .350 hcg in the same pin, sub q, 1/2" 27g in the glute. no issues with it.
