    Question Testosterone and fertility questions

Can anyone shed any light, on how steroids affect your fertility ON cycle?

I have read that sperm production comes to a halt until you get your balls back up and running during pct.

I'm curious as to how long it takes after your first injection for your fertility to drop? Has any one got their wife/gf pregnant while being on a cycle?

If I am not mistaken, HCG mimicks LH, but not FSH. You need follicle stimulating hormones in order for spermatogenesis to occur. I am not sure if there is more to it than that. I do know, however, that human menopausal gonadotropin does increase FSH levels and there are studies that show that.

    Here is some reading...

Chronic human chorionic gonadotropin... [J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 1986] - PubMed - NCBI

Here is one supporting my claim for HMG..

It's all too individual, there is no definite answer for any of your questions.

The best advice is, if you're trying for a kid and want to be fertile, stay away from AAS.

Yes many have gotten others pregnant on cycle.
    Always use protection.

I read studies, that tells 100% anticonceptive time are 4 months of testosterone therapy . and after 4 months it doesn't mean you won't have sperm, it means sperm count is so low, that you won't be able to get your chick pregnant.

    Please note Andrea,

It only takes 1 swimmer to get a girl pregnant.

I only say what I read. you can find all information about this question under men's hormonal anticonceptive method.
1 swimmer seems to be not enough, but research by yourself.
BTW, if 1 swimmer would be enough, I'd have many kids, by doing it without cleaning between sessions.

I have been cruising (with two cycles) since January. Wife just told me she is pregnant, first ovulation cycle that we tried.

I am cruising currently on 600 a week, although I was as low as 300 a week for a few weeks last spring.

    Your mileage may vary.
