    Understanding esters

The more I read about testosterone esters the less I feel I get. Can someone help me put this all together.

So the esters only change the half life of the substance, the amount of time half the hormones are somewhere in my body doing something. Does that mean that if I inject test prop I will feel the effects as quickly as Test enanthate but it will just leave my system faster? If that's true then it seems like they are kind of interchangeable in the way they effect the body and all thats different is how often i have to reintroduce them to the body.

Do both test prop and enanthate have a 2 week intro period where the effects aren't as strong or is that only enanthate?

What makes test prop better for cutting?

A short ester will hit you faster than a longer ester. The longer ester requires less frequent injections. (typically twice per week) The shorter esters will need to be injected every day or every other day to keep things stable. Both have pros and cons.

    I cycle AND trt.

on the trt, I like the long esthers since it means less pinning

but on cycle, I'm liking the short esthers like prop. it kicks in fast, (and if my doc wants to do a blood screen, within a few days, I can have my T levels looking pretty normal), and I feel I get better "mileage" on it.

I'm not too susceptible to water retention, something I believe you are referring to with the "better for cutting" question. From my personal experience, in this area, test is test. Others may have a different opinion from personal experience.
