I'm turning 52 , need some advice please.
Years ago, after a knee injury, a "sports medicine" doctor put me on a steroid treatment for a short time. I believe it was anavar , but not sure. I felt great and put on muscle like crazy.
35 years later, many more injuries and pain associated with playing and working hard , I am thinking of doing my first "cycle" on my own.
I have been working out and ran my first 5K in my life in October , but my recovery time , and the soreness of my workouts are holding me back. I want to try an "obstacle course" 5K next year with my little brother.
That being said, I am liking what I hear about equipoise and want to try a cycle with it to see if it will help me with my endurance and strength.
I am 6'3" and currently weigh 240. I am in good health and just had blood work done with my testosterone at 521. I was hoping maybe to get TRT but no luck there. That's what got me looking again into the AAS scene . I would just like to feel a bit stronger , and maybe get over some of the ailments associated with getting older.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you basically have two options. Everything you need to know about option one you can find here. Follow this to the letter. Don't be creative.
My First Cycle: Planning and Executing a Successful First Cycle
Option number 2 would be a self prescribed HRT. With that test number I wouldn't go that route if I were you. However, if you would like information about that route we have a wonderful TRT section with tons of information. But don't just jump into that. There is a lot more that goes into TRT than you think.

You could look into peptides for your injuries, specifically TB500. Times Roman has a great log on it's effectiveness.

They did not tell me my free numbers and range, I didn't know to ask. I'll have to find out next week when I see the Dr. again.

Khazima , thanks for the advice. I had not heard of peptides, especially TB500. I've read up on it , and it looks really promising. I'm going to take that route first and heal the injuries, loose a little weight when I feel better, and take it from there. I have found a lot of information about TB500 on the net , interesting reading. Thanks again.
