Steroids and prostatitis
Hey guys,
I posted about 4 months ago about an issue I have been having. I have seen several doctors and a urologist to try and get this worked out. I have been having urethral pain and frequent urination. My urologist did a scope and an ultrasound and says that he believes I have prostatitis. I had been on a long 4 month cycle before the pain started. I came off, did a pct, and started a cycle of what I thought was HGH a month after my pct. It turns out the hgh was actually HCG and i stopped it after I had the symptoms come on and not go away for over a week. The doctor has me hytrin, which is used to relax the muscles of the prostate, but so far it isn't helping. I know that all of this came from either the long cycle and possibly too short of a pct, then the use of hcg afterwards made the issue come about. My question is, is there any steroids or aromatase inhibitors that can help reduce the prostate size back to normal? I know that DHT and estrogen levels both play a key role in the prostate and my issue.

I am far from an expert in this field but I would say a good first move would be a blood test to see where you are as far as recovery etc. This will let you know if your PCT was effective. Its pretty likely that your body has not fully recovered yet, if this is the case you may or may not wish to try another PCT...however the last thing you would want to do at this point is any steroids as this will only make things worse.
You may find some relief from your condition (won't fix anything but may help with symptoms) using over the counter prostate meds, I am 59 so prostate issues are the norm and am currently using LifeExtension, ultra natural prostate and it has helped a lot with frequent urination.

Prostatitis and BPH are not the same, which is it you have?
I have non-bacterial prostatitis, get my PSA's check and a finger up my rear and everything is A-OK but I still experience pain, I found my solution on accident and then after talking to a doctor it confirmed it.
Things cause mine to flair up, caffeine is the biggest one. I'm so sensitive to caffeine I can tell the difference in root beer by drinking 1 can. Caffeinated root beer causes me to hurt, just 1 can. Some spicy foods, too much red meat. I was told to basically modify my diet, which has worked.
I have experienced BPH with gear but it was not painful and returned to normal after cycle.
For BPH I've used cialis and saw palmetto
Also, keeping the pipes cleaned out on a regular basis helps me as well.

I seem to get BPH when on winstrol . It wasn't pain so much as it was a tickling. It almost felt like I was ready to bust one all the time. It sounds awesome but it gets annoying! Saw palmetto, cialis, and dropping the winny helped most.

Dr. Thinks it's non bacterial prostatitis. I'm trying to see if there was a connection to the cycle though. Timing seems to coincidental to appear when it did. I have never had issues with my prostate previously.

My PSA levels elevate when I'm on a DHT cycle like Primo or Anavar . Also when I pin the TNE a little to much every week. You just need to take BW every three months and monitor how your body reacts to different compounds.

I'm on TRT 150mg/wk and I don't experience BPH, even though my prostate's larger, age appropriate I'm told. When I'm on Tren my BPH flares up. When take any nitric oxide based pre workout drinks I experience more BPH. Seems like there not much to do except watching what I put in my body.
