    First Cycle Critiquing

    Hello all,

    I will try my best not to keep everyone’s eyes from rolling in the back of your heads with another newb post and questions. So first, I want to thank everyone here for their wealth of knowledge and passion of science regarding gear.

    I have spent some time reading before my first post, especially the Stickies. I won’t lie and say I’ve been researching forever, but for the better part of a couple months.

    With that being said, I am 40years old. 4 years ago I was 243lbs and got myself down to 196lbs in diet and training. Last month I got tested for my testosterone levels by a family doctor (See attached).

    So the Dr. Opted to obviously not prescribe me Test, as he said I was right on the border for my age. After thinking long and hard about it, I've decided to take it to the next level on my own after four years.

    Based on suggestions here and also welcome for critiquing, here is what I am considering for my 1st cycle:

    Week 1-10: Test Enth 250mg ‘Every 3 days’
    (OPTIONAL) Week 1-10: Masteron 200mg (Drostanolone Propionate) ‘Every 3 days’
    Week 1-12: Anastrozole (Arimidex) 0.25mg ‘Every Other Day’ (reduced to 0.125mg EOD in last week)
    Week 3-10: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin 250iu ‘3X/week’ (??)

    While finishing up the Anastrozole in weeks 10-12 and being off the Test-E for two weeks, I will begin the PCT on week 12 with:

    Week 12: Nolva 20mg 2x/day
    Clomid 75mg / day

    Week 13-15: Nolva 20mg/day
    Clomid 50mg / day

    Gear Needed:
    Test Enanthate 250 = (3) vials; 1 vial=(20ml/vial (250 mg/ml))
    Human Chorionic Gonadotropin = 1 amp (5000iu 1 ml)
    Arimidex = 10mg (avg)
    Clomid = 1575mg
    Nolva = 700mg
    OPTIONAL - Masteron/ Drostanolone Propionate = (5) vials; 1 vial=(10ml/vial (100 mg/ml))

    I realize in the stickies it was suggested to run only Test on your first cycle so that you can see how your body reacts to the Test and to be able to isolate issues without running to many compounds at once. Is running the Masteron with cycle #1 an absolute no no? It was merely suggested to me by a close friend and Certified Personal Trainer. I realize that doesn't mean hardly anything other than I wanted you to know that I just didn't come up with my own newb cocktail.

    I don't have much knowledge as some of the chaps on here but I'm going to have a stab at it and if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.

    I'd suggest for the first cycle not to use masteron, you'll see good results alone with the test. If you were going to use masteron I think you'd actually have to pin every 2 days because of the short life of it, one of my friends had a cycle with masteron and used to pin everyday--but once again I wouldn't throw it in the first cycle.

    The PCT looks good to me.

    May I ask what is your BF% and Height?

    Thanks for the feedback. The Masteron could definitely be a issue for me pinning every two days. I travel with work a lot and that may not be possible anyway. It will be a stretch for me just pinning the Test and the HCG.

    I'm 5'11 with a guesstimate of about 20%-23% BF.

    Okeydokey, how often are you hitting the GYM considering you're traveling a lot with work?

    leave the masterone alone for now and the every 3 day with test e will end up being more then 500 a week you could just pick 2 days out of the week you can pin Monday Friday for example. and I have no personal experience with hcg or anti e but hcg 250 twice a week is fine and anti e I think looks good but I've never had to use one so I'm not to sure .

    I travel throughout the Southeast, a member of Any**** Fit****, which branches in all the states I work. I hit it never less than (3) times a week but strive for four and always on Saturday and Sunday when I'm home. No.. I am not speaking about hotel "Fitness Centers"... lol.

    10-4.. thanks. I asked in another post about pinning days regarding traveling. They suggested the same thing about Monday and Fridays.

    Fair one mate, I would always strive for 5 days a week at the GYM but if you can't fit that in, then you can't fit it in

    Your HCT is just shy of 47. From comparison with your Haemoglobin it appears you are dehydrated fairly so at time of the test. Drink plenty of water. You will need to give blood so find the donation place and have a plan to deal with if they will not take your blood (it happens)

    Success of any cycle is tied in with the diet more than the gym. I did not lose much weight on my first cycle but had a huge recomp and my diet structure was key to that. Anyone can buy gear and pin, anyone can go to the gym and push plates, very few can have a proper cycle diet. You will want 500 or so over maintenance to give good gains.

    Thanks for taking a look at my bloodwork. Can you explain this statement? "You will need to give blood so find the donation place and have a plan to deal with if they will not take your blood (it happens)". I am not questioning you, but trying to understand why I would need to give blood and when.

    He is referring to your rbc, hematocrit level. From the looks of your labs its in normal range though. Your range is fine for now

    I think you need to clean up your diet some, 4 years in the gym and still at 20% bf shows your diet is off. You might want to postpone your cycle and get your bf down to low teens first, then hit the cycle. I agree that you should drop the Mast and do test only for your first cycle, especially at 20% bf, the chance of sides are increased with higher bf. This is just my opinion of how I feel you could get more out of your cycle.

    Good point. I haven't been as strict as I have been in the beginning of the four years. Posing the first cycle questions now before I commit to ascertaining the gear which I would anticipate to be at least a month or two from now. In the meantime, I will commit to dropping it down some.
