    Quad PIP, gear vs. technique

I know this won't be news to some, but I see so many posts about quad PIP (and PIP in general) that I thought this was worth mention. I tried quad injections for the first time while on a blast a couple months ago and got the notorious PIP from hell that everyone talks about. Lasted for days and could barely walk. I did one shot in each quad, got same pip from each leg, then said f that and stuck with delts and glutes the rest of the blast. I was NOT using my trt script gear for the blast btw. Now that I'm off blast and back on my trt (straight from the local pharmacy) I decided to try another quad pin yesterday. 24 hours later....nothing! Not even the slightest hint of pip. Just goes to show how much of a role gear quality/source plays in pip.

I will never pin my quads again!
Tried it once and couldn't walk on it.
Glutes all the way, no pain what so ever, plus the wife pins me now and I don't even feel it

I tried the quads again for two reasons. One, I just wanted to test the idea that it would hurt less with guaranteed pharm grade test( way less, 0 pip). And two, I'm planning another blast next year using prop, so I want to break my quads in with the good stuff so maybe the prop won't hurt quite so bar when I use it. Delts and glutes are fine for long esthers, but I need more options to keep injection sites spread out if pinning eod with prop.

My right quads virgin muscle had the most minimum of pip. Almost zero, however my technique was spot on with my pharm gear.

Left quads virgin muscle,... I screwed it up start to finish and paid for it with 4 days of pain.

Right quads 2d pin ever....good technique, not perfect. And I have very very minimal pip.

So it's possible to go without pip on good grade gear IF you don't make rookie mistakes like I did.
