I mean before I was heading off to the gym I opened this thread when there were no replies and I was actually pretty interested in seeing if anybody would have a before and after picture. Have you seen footage or a picture of that cow that I believe was genetically modified something to do with it's myostatin inhibitor? The thing is freaking huge and it was pretty intriguing. Only reason why I am defending the OP lol

Yeah I have seen that cow. However it is not genetically modified it simply carries a natural mutation. However recently (like in 2013) scientists have inserted the gene to other breeds of cattle and other species that normally don't have the gene do a google image search for myostatin transgenic and you will see a comparison of genetically modified fish with normal fish, sadly scientists think with the transgenic cattle, the gene deactivated in the womb so while it looks a little more muscular issues such as the transgenic cattle being a bull and the control being a heifer and/or having a different dam/sire means that the results were not conclusive. (don't quote me on this but some studies have or still use hundreds of animals and only generate one or two with the new gene very low success rate). All claims made before 2013 that "supercow" was genetically modified are missed informed. Scientists have also inserted the gene into sheep but I don't have a picture.
