    Average natty height and weight

What's the maximum weight potential being natural for certain heights on average for a good reasonable reference for people wanting to know whether it's advisable or not to start roids? My friend is 5'5 and weighs 152 at 12% body fat, on average how much more can he get naturally onto his small frame from muscle before deciding to cycle?

good to see anuther swole in the forum but to answer your question it can't be answered your guess and his guess is just about as good as anybody else's. all we have to base our knowledge off is people we know that heigh that lift natty but you never mentioned how long he's been lifting or his age

Age: 22 and he's been lifting nearly 4 years and started at 116. And haha Ya that is cool, and I know it's hard to estimate but was just curious on if there's any chart you could go off of to find out at least your average ideal natural maximum body weight with muscle for certain heights.

It can vary dramatically between individuals but here are some very generalized models. Also, your friend needs to weight for his HPTA system to fully develop, not just his muscles.

Natural Muscle Building: A Look At Potential, Genetics & Arm Size | Muscle & Strength

    Lyle McDonald Model
    Natural Gains Expectations
Year of Training Potential Yearly Rate of Muscle Gain
    1 20-25 pounds (2 pounds per month)
    2 10-12 pounds (1 pound per month)
    3 5-6 pounds (0.5 pound per month)
4+ 2-3 pounds (not worth calculating)

    Martin Berkham's Formula
Max Lean Body Mass @ 5-6% Body Fat
    Height Max Weight Max LBM
    5'5" 143 pounds 135 pounds
    5'6" 149 pounds 140 pounds
    5'7" 154 pounds 145 pounds
    5'8" 160 pounds 150 pounds
    5'9" 166 pounds 156 pounds
    5'10" 171 pounds 161 pounds
    5'11" 177 pounds 166 pounds
    6'0" 182 pounds 171 pounds
    6'1" 188 pounds 177 pounds
    6'2" 194 pounds 182 pounds

so I'm 6' and 220lbs at 13% body fat. that means 192lbs of lbm. now, my trt means not natty, obviously, but these numbers seem light. what am I missing?

The perception of what is achievable naturally has been warped by all the fake nattys and marketing of supplements. Plus these are very generalized numbers and could vary dramatically between individuals. I'm pretty sure these charts are just referring to the average joe.

Well the charts are based on muscle growth and maximum muscular potential, so i'd take a random stab in the dark and say he works out :P

that chart seems pretty accurate for average genetics.

    thanks khazima

people seems to forget that a real 5-6% Bf is ****ing shredded and even 160lbs of LBM is still fairly big.

On my AVI I was 190lbs 15% putting me at around 160lbs of LBM at 5'10".

I'd say they are pretty accurate, those numbers are almost exactly where I started getting extremely diminishing gains naturally at my height after 6-7 years of weight training.
I was a tad higher LBM than the chart but very close!
