Var rant....please help!
Started my cycle 4 weeks ago. For the last 2 weeks I've been experiencing insane water retention. My ankles look like 1 liter coke bottles! It's so bad I have to elevate my feet for the greater part of the day. Not even my pregnancies made me swell so bad. My diet is uber clean, with a cheat day/meal once every 2-3 weeks. What am I doing wrong?
I have noticed gains in the last 2 weeks...-2% body fat, +2.4lbs of muscle, water +5lbs! (is this about avg?)
I started my cycle with 5mg (half tablet) for a week then increased to 10mg (full tablet in the am)
If anyone has any advise for me please share.
This is my first cycle ever and I don't want to punk out. Maybe all I need is a "suck it up, buttercup!" LOL

Hey Samson! I've been MIA for a while...taking this transformation process seriously but this water retention is busting my ass!
I've not had any of the usual sides...a zit now and then that disappears after a day or two, greasy hair, some sleep issues but nothing too crazy, and my libido was off the charts the first 2 weeks but non existent now.
This is the first time I ever run any oral aas. Didn't know how my body would react but did research before hand and became familiar with possible sides.
Do you guys recommend water pills??
My diet is pretty strict. I'm not at a point where I can eat solids every 2-3 hrs so I mostly have protein shakes with oats/granola, spinach/kale, strawberries/banana. I eat 4oz chicken or turkey with broccoli or asparagus and 1cup white rice once a day. And half cup of cottage cheese for dinner.
I'm trying to build up my solid food intake but it's just too much food for me at this point.
I'm not sure how to go about testing the batch but the guy I get it from takes it as well. Not that that means anything, but I trust him and doubt he'd be taking boggus junk.
What would you guys do in my situation?
I'm serious about my transformation and don't want to throw in the towel.

Yikes tdoe11! Now I'm scared. I didn't take it today to see if the swelling went down and it did. Just having tingling sensation in my legs.
Where do I get lab max test? Walgreens/CVS?

I ran var for 9 weeks and had little to no water retention. I would test it because it doesn't sound like var to me.

Happy New Year All!
I have an update regarding my insane swelling.
I took my diet to a friend for a second opinion and I told him about my crazy water retention.
Just recently I had switched out my Isolate protein for Muscle Egg. I'm not an egg eater and I HATE egg whites so I thought it would be a good alternative. Turns out my body hated it!
The sodium content in that stuff is off the charts and I was drinking it in my shakes 2-3 times a day! I discontinued use immediately and felt better by that evening.
I'm happy to report no more coke bottle ankles!
Although I could have kicked myself when he broke it down for me. I should have caught it myself. Live and learn lol.

So that's how they do the mass weight gain stuff. Add sodium so you retain water. LoL
