How often do you guys cycle?
I'm just here planning what to cycle in 2015 and wondering how often do you guys cycle? Except for the guys who are on blasting and cruising for life already.
I am planning to cycle Test E only twice a year starting from 2015. I would be running a cycle every three months (12 weeks) off and on respectively starting from this January. Of course, considering the fact that my blood work are completely bounced back while off doing proper PCT. Do you guys think this is too aggressive or sounds reasonable?
Much appreciate! Thanks.

I think the average would be once or twice a year and I think you would need a little more than 3 months off. Taking in for cycle time, time before pct and pct

If the cycles are 16 weeks then yeah..2x a year. I know 0 people that cycle once a year on the small 8 week cycles. The whole point of cycling is to take you past your genetic potential. Why would you do that then lose all you gained over the other 44 weeks of the year then do it again? If you plan to add over your genetic potential and keep it you are going to do more than 1 cycle a year for sure.
What is preached on here is to be off cycle the same length of the cycle. SO if you cycle 26 weeks of the year you are off 26 weeks of the year. I think for me so far over 41 weeks I have been on cycle 30 weeks (currently on and have 12 more weeks until off). So on 42 and off 11 or so. Next "year will start with 10 weeks off".

if you truly wanna get past your natural limit and keep improving and you are serious about it then blast and cruise this is just the best way to do it.
but it is a life long commitement.
IMO if you arent ready for that then you should not even cycle.
cause cycling will eventually lead you there anyway...
just my two cent.

2 times a year but that's pretty aggressive. Great read..http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...rst-cycle.html

OP, you're 22. You shouldn't be cycling at all.

short cycles work well for me,
8 weeks on, 10 weeks off, rinse and repeat, unless im competing that year, then its possibly a 16 week

Thanks a lot guys! Every comment really means a lot to me. I'm gonna go cycle twice a year and see how it goes. Blast and cruise is not an option yet maybe in the next couple of years.
Much appreciate.

Depends on what you want. If you are still searching for size, better 2 short but strong cycles a year.
If you reached your goal, and still need to look full and shredded during summer, then I’d do only one 3 months light cycle (like in my case)

This really depends on how long your cycles are. If you're running 12 weeks+, it would probably be wise to limit yourself to 2 cycles per year. If you're running short cycles like Haydenz suggested, you could probably get away with 3.
What it comes down to is blood work. If you want to cycle as frequently as possible, get blood work done; if all is alright, jump back on.

Well you still have to take bodybuilding and competing into consideration. If someone wants to compete they are going to use AAS no matter what, like all the top bodybuilders started in there teens. So it depends on the person and their goals. Those guys waiting to cycle at 30 obviously don't compete and if they did when they were younger without AAS they most likely didn't get far without AAS. I think it should all depend on the person, their goals and as long as they know their diet, train and what the hell they're doing then they should be able to make their own choices.
