Been on Testogel for 4 days - quiting cold turkey?

    Hi guys,

This may be a silly thread, but I've been on testogel 50mg for 4 days (rubbing on shoulders/upper arms).

After reading further into the effects of testogel, I've decided to not proceed. Am I right to stop cold turkey?

    What can I expect?

    Many thanks,
    James.

Assuming this is a prescribed protocol by your physician due to low testosterone , you need to give this time. Four days does not constitute sufficient time to evaluate its effectiveness.
Regarding side effects, all medicines and vitamin's can have side effects. Read the sides associated with vitamin C and you'd never take it. Testosterone replacement is safe and effective if managed properly.

Thanks for your reply. This was not prescribed, I was given the gel by a friend. I want to stop so I can visit the doctor and proceed properly. In just 4 days I have had a few pimples show on my face (haven't had one for about 10 years prior). I have extremely sensitive/smooth skin.

For four days at such a low topical dose (presuming you only took one packet daily) I would suggest cold turkey would be fine. If you were on for a week or two, maybe you'd need to consider taking other compounds or tapering off. But you're fine as far as i'm concerned.

I agree, after four days, no biggie. Quit and go on as usual.
