Kickboxing, muay thai etc, you don’t want muscle weight!!! You might prefer even some fat weight against muscle weight.
Only MMA or wrestling could benefit of some muscle.

If you want to get stronger and don't want to gain a lot of weight it's still tough to beat a medium dose Test Prop cycle.

You will most likely become super pumped and inflexible. A cycle would only give you short term satisfaction and leave you disappointed in the end. Then what? The guys you spar with are going to come at you with a vengeance.

I tell my guys if they want recovery and strength to go with about 300mg/wk of Test Prop for 6 weeks. Yes, they do gain a little weight but I haven't seen pumps like when on Var. My assumption is that they will cycle during training before they cut. Once the cycle is over and they have increased in strength and size they cut to make weight. The goal is to retain more of the strength after cutting with AAS over nonAAS cut. Most of my guys are about 10lbs to 15lbs over competitive weight. IMO it's worth it to gain a few pounds of muscle and gain a lot more strength before they cut weight.
