    KINASE creatine (CPK) high Levels

    Hi Guys,

I have just took my blood test results in my hands and the only thing that is out of range is KINASE creatine levels. With optimum levels 24-195iu/l i have 527iu/lt.

I use creatine supplement in tablets. 2000mg per day.

I would like to ask your opinion, if you find it normal for my levels to be so high after using this supplement and if you believe that high levels of CPK can make some damage.

    Thx In Advance!
    Take Care!

CPK is an enzyme leaked from muscles and other organs when damaged. Weight training causes muscle damage, so this is probably a normal elevation.
It has nothing to do with creatine monohydrate supplementation.

I've had bad case of kidney stones a couple years back. Maybe 5 in one years time.

One time went to doc and she did bloods. Called me at like 9pm at night telling me to get to the emergency room and get 2 or 3 pints of iv in me. Severely dehydrated.

She pointed out that it was because of my high cpk. Was also told high cpk is also seen in heart attack victims. ....

Any truth to any of this Bonaparte?

Again this was few years ago...forgot all details. But definitely remmeber what I have expressed here.
