hiting nerve??

i was injecting my quad just about 15 mins ago and half way in my VL (outer quad) started to spasm or jumping, i did not inject it and tried somewhere else , there was no pain or nothing just little spasm. is it going to hurt tomorrow or bruise? 2ml deca 25mg/ml ph grade was the injecting oil.

Sounds like you hit a nerve. As far as pain goes you may have a little discomfort but it's not going to be something that effects your daily routine. You'll be alright.

Yip no big deal there you might get a small bit of pain but nothing that's going to bother you.

thanks guys, i am feeling it right now a lil pain when i flex or extend my knee. funny thing i hit both quads today and in both of them nerves were touched.

Should be fine, as long as it didn't cause you to jerk, and wiggle the needle around. It's my opinion that most pip is due to excess needle movement...

I HATE quad injections for this same exact reason. 20+ yrs of doing this and my least favorite spot to inject.

about half way up from the side, nice spot sinks right in not even a drip of blood when you pull out.
