    New member/first cycle/experienced body builder

Hey guys.... can't wait to get your suggestions.

I'm 52 years old, 6' tall, and weigh 187 at ~ 10% bf. This is my body's "normal" condition, and where it likes to stay. I've been lifting for 30 years, and I'm in excellent overall health. (for my age, lol.....)

I won an over 40 men's physique competition 3 years ago at the age of 49, and weighed 179 at 6% bf.

I would like to add about 7-9 lbs of muscle while losing a few pounds of fat. However, my body just does not want to get any bigger than I am now.

It looks like Test-E is a good way to go as it has few or no side effects, and does not tend to increase body fat or unwanted water retention. I would like to stay as lean as possible while adding muscle. I'm not looking to get huge... just get over my plateau, AND maintain my gains after the cycle is over.

    I'm all ears, and thanks for any help. New member/first cycle/experienced body builder-cg-166_.jpgNew member/first cycle/experienced body builder-eg-111_.jpgNew member/first cycle/experienced body builder-cg-173.jpg

This is not a source board... You probly just set yourself up for scammers do stay clear of anyone who offers outta nowhere(don't hapoen thSt way)!

As far as staying lean a possible Propionate IMO is better but IT all comes down to your diet and training program in the long run which seems you know how to diet...

What's your macro split and your calorie intake??

Have you gotten your natural hormone levels checked yet?

That might be a good place to start off. If your tests come back low, you can get TRT prescribed and that would help you to pick up those 7-9 pounds you are looking to gain.

Got my hormone levels checked and they are fine says my Doc.

I don't count my macros... just try to eat reasonable and smart. I eat about 3000 cal/day, and around 140-150 grams/protein. I've tried upping protein significantly for several months, but never saw any gains.

Hi, here is a great starting point..

    1. Get your BW done to see where you're at chemically, plus if you want, get a full spectrum hormone test.
    2. Later, you can take those numbers to an endo and get a prognosis and at the same time post your numbers in the forum and get recommendations from VETS. They have the experience to filter out the good from the bad advice. Furthermore, based on their experience and knowledge listen to them and they will help guide you towards success.
    3. Read My First Cycle: http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...rst-cycle.html
    4. Post your TDEE http://forums.steroid.com/diet-nutri...penditure.html in the diet & nutrition forum and ask for advice. While you're getting advice start dialing in your diet and get your body ready for AAS, this will be the #1 factor for success when you start your cycle, and during PCT.
    5. Do your homework BEFORE you start your AAS.
    6. When you finish your PCT get your BW results done again and compare.
Plus this is a great read... http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...mmed-copy.html
    Cheers!

Cvar, please click the edit post below your post and edit out the request on obtaining AAS. That is against our rules.

    Are you over 40 yourself?
Gains get so much harder to keep, as we get closer to 50.
I say 30 years of natural is a fantastic base, to finally try adding in some AAS.

I've tried a personal trainer, a partner, hitting it extremely hard, and on and on.... My body doesn't want to get much bigger unless I eat a ton and then most of the gains are fat, and then I have to deal with the pain of losing a bunch of fat. I've tried hitting each muscle group twice/week... once/week.... etc, etc. Even when I was in my 20's and 30's I could not get any bigger than about 185 at 10% bf.

Also... I have tried steroids before and they worked great. But it was a long long time ago and I need to start fresh.

No offense but don't trust your doc. Far to many doc's simply do not know hormones and as long as you are in the scale they consider you ok, and that's bullshiat. You could be at the very bottom of the scales "norm." Start maintaining your own copies. We see that scenario here all the time, unfortunately.

Actually... :-) I have counted everything going into my mouth on a "typical" day. It turned out to be about 2800 cals, and ~150 grams protein. So... I have a very good idea of what my "normal" macros are. However, when I had to cut for my contest, I was very strict on my diet and macros. I hated it, lol.

Thanks for the advice...will do. Also, I have ads popping up on this site pointing me to low testosterone treatment clinics. Are these legit? I assume they are since they must be approved and "allowed" by the site administrators. It sounds like they would be a great place to go for testing and treatment.

I'm looking into low testosterone .com myself as I'm having a bit of a problem tryin to get it covered! Still working on coverage! But they are great from what I hear, I've talked directly to them already and they are very well equipped as well as great customer service! So it's really not a bad deal $$$ wise compared to many others!
