    prednisone cycle

This is how my prednisone cycle is going. So far 1 week in and I can't sleep at all. My muscle mass is slowly withering away and I'm putting on some body fat. It hasn't helped with joint/back pain at all. Should it have taken affect by now?

I know this isnt an anabolic steroid the prednisone cycle was for a laugh.

Haven't seen any improvements yet, can I just stop?

I know everyone's different but I hate this stuff

Man I'm desperate. I've tried idk how many meds nothings worked for me. I've got similar injuries to what the guy in the HGH section posted for the tb-500 I've thought about trying it. I've had 2 back surgerys this year having another one next week. Doc told me to stay out of the gym last week, said not to stretch my back or anything. I'm on light duty at work. They burned all the nerves in my back around the joints, doing it again next week in a different spot. The only thing that's seemed to help is stretching and lifting.

oh my god. Prednisone is indeed a steroid , but fck! Its not an Anabolic steriod you joke, its a catabolic steroid!!!! hahahahaha, people going to the pharmacy, buiyng all kind of stuff because they can't get the real thing. I know people buiyng tons of cold remedy that contains pseudo-ephedrine, or liters of caugh syrup for 10mcg of clenbuterol . Or that guy spraying like a fool the ventolin while doing cardio. Now I was missing to hear about Prednisone hahaha!!! really, don't do stupid things bros.

Lol I know, reread my post I said its not an anabolic steroid , I put prednisone cycle for a laugh.

I'm taking it for injuries and joints from the past but its not helping with pain. Its making me feel like crap. If it helps I guess it'll be worth it, I'm at 6 days right now, hasn't helped any at all so far

ok, anyways, prednisone is not a joke, its a very dangerous drug, I think you can even die if you mess with dosages and timings.
I hope you are under medical supervisión.

Tell me you are just trolling because nobody can be that reckless and ill informed. The fact you are doing it for a laugh will only result in your body becoming laughable.
Stop it! That's the best advice anyone will give you.

Not trolling. Just thought it would be funny to say it like that. My doctor really has me on it. It hasn't helped the inflammation in my back any at all. He won't be back in the office until Tuesday.

Can I stop taking it right now?
Or do I have to taper off of it like he said?

How long have you been on it - and at what dose? What time of day are you taking it?

If your under the care of a physician then fill the instructions as given. Prednisone is for inflation take prescribed. Sounds like it's time to switch to yoga. Come a point that the body just can't do what you want it to do.

Lol man I'm 26 and feel like I'm 60. I was doing stretches a lot until last week he told me to stop everything, he made that part pretty clear. Says I've gotta give my back time to heal.

My whole body is shriveling up, my arms, chest, legs, shoulders, I feel week but im gaining fat I've never had before. Its on my chest, stomach, and lower back.
Have you had to take it?

Yes for a week and had no issues and I'm in my 50's. Do what he says and get healed. Muscle has memory so it will come back, I had surgery 4 weeks ago and am out of the gym for at least another month. Im not going to blow out a newly repaired rotator cuff.
You have a whole life ahead of you calm down and rest.

Man I hear that... Sounds like you've been thru the ringer as well! I'm 31 and feel like I'm in my later yrs, also! It sucks but getting healed is priority as you know! I had to lay off the gym from all my surgeries for a couple yrs(everything was back to back for a couple yrs!

Just follow instructions from Doc as stated...

Is it bloating you at all? My Mother took it and looked like a blimp(my bad Mom lol) but was just curious?

Time off from the gym doesn't bother me the fat gain and muscle loss really don't bother me either. Only thing that bothers me is lack of sleep and feeling really weak I can barley swing my hammer at work.

FIT good luck with your shoulder hope all goes well, im gonna take your advice

Nach yeah man, its bloating me pretty good almost like dbol did me, that's the only thing I can really compare the bloat feeling to. I can't see it but my wife says my cheeks are getting a little puffy

Yeah, the bloat started in the face then went to body... But though the sides are often similar(they can certainly differ from person to person for sure)

GL w/this and hope it serves it's purpose!

man, if your doc prescibes you prednisone, I think you're in a pretty bad stage. really, try to survive that shit, heal, like others said, your muscle memory will do miracles in no time, you might get back big, faster than on AAS. I had a liposuction january and I've been off gym for 3 months. What I did in 3 years, my muscle memory did it in 3 weeks. good luck bro.

Man my docs put me on that for a neck injury, I went blind in my left eye!! Something called central serous retinopathy. The retinal specialist said they don't know why, but corticosteroids can cause it. Had to have laser surgery.

Ive been on it a few times for sciatic nerve pain. It was a god send but I would not want to experiment with it.

Yes to help reduce inflammation around the sciatic nerve.

Only other thing that helps is doing ice regularly. Several times a day.

They've burned the nerves in my back twice now. Go back again in a week or two. Almost $3,000 for a 15 minute procedure.
