Injection pain.

Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent injection pain?

I feel pain nearly everytime i penetrate my skin, but NOT while injecting the juice..

i knew a fellow that claimed he would slap himself hard a few times before pinning. maybe something to try?

its was always the sore knot the day or so after that always bothered me (more so than the actual pin, anyway)

Yeah, stop using a turkey baster.

How about a little more information? What size needle are you using, 18g? 20g? 22g? 23g? 25?
How long of a needle? How much (cc) gear? What is the strength of the gear (mg/mL)?
How long does it take you to inject? Where are you injecting?

I use 25gx5/8 0,5x16mm orange needle.

I use alpha Pharma gear, but the problem is NOT pain while injecting, the problem is pain when penetrating the skin, once its in its in and theres Np.

Im injecting in my thigh only.

Try another site like glutes. I used thighs/quads for a while but they became sensitive after about 1yr. I hardly ever use them now. You needles may also be lesser quality brands and arent as sharp as they should be. Are switching needles after drawing from the vial? They dull quickly. They is what the skin does to them, imagine what the vial does.

Its important to rotate sites. 25g has to take forever to inject.

Sometimes the pain can be from not letting the alcohol dry all the way after swabbing your skin. If it only hurts while penetrating the skin this is more than likely what is happening. On a rare occasion this happens to me. Its not that bad, but it is noticeable.

It doesn't take long at all to pin with a 25. I believe it could be the alcohol. Are you letting it dry before you pin?

you guys use alcohol? I knew I was forgetting something. lol Yeah a lot of people dont give it a chance to evaporate. Personally I dont use any. I typically do mine right after getting out of the shower. If you are going to use alcohol dont use cotton balls. Spend the .02 and buy a box of the sterile wipes or you are just pushing germs around.
