gains have peaked on cycle?
Hey guys. On test e, EQ, mast....gained 20lbs the first 5 weeks, I'm into week 8 and have stayed at 193 since week 5 ...should I increase calories?

3500cal per day eggs, chicken, brown rice, bananas, whey proteins with water post workout. Micellar casein protien 2 hours after workout with meal. Bcaa supps pre / post workout. Yogurt granola, almonds, mixed fruits as snacks.
Multi vitamin, milk thistle, fish oil,vitamin D, B, C. Everyday.
Aromasin 12.5 ed , DIM 400mg ED
Test E 500mg /week
EQ 600mg/week
Mast 600/week

Gains were fantastic the first 5 weeks. Strength was crazy and blew up 20lbs. I feel like I've hit a wall and am making very slow progress in the past 3 weeks with now weight gains and minimal strength gains

Your EQ should be kicking in pretty hard right around now, you should try eating more, make sure you're getting rest days in, i know it's hard. Probably harder than diet and training combined IMO, but without days off you're just beating a brick wall some times. You also have to realize gains can be funny some times, weight can spike substantially due to water now and then. This is going to sound insane but try taking 3 days off. Give your body a rest, then go hard. you'll notice a massive increase in strength and overall fitness, even with just a 72 hour rest period, 20lbs is a massive amount of mass to put on in a very short period of time.
If that doesn't work i'd really head over to the diet section. I don't count calories i never have, i'm ****ing lazy. I eat clean and lots, my body lets me know when i'm hungry. I don't force it so i'm not the best guy to be taking food advice from.
Anyway just my 2 cents i hope it helps. These forums have a wealth of knowledge!

Much appreciated advice. I've had someone els stress the importance of rest and I gave him the yeah yeah, however I believe your right. I will try to chill out for a couple days and see how it goes. ALSO I've been looking forward to the eq kicking in for a while. Stoked about that. Thanks for the advice!

Mate you trying to bulk?
If so I eat just as clean and probly more... But I'm on a bulk - I weigh everything I eat just do what has happened to you doesn't hapoen!
You mentioned re-evaluating your macros.... Of course... It's changrd now that you've gained 20 lbs... Think of it like this, you were eating at a decent surplus and your gains were probly due to yiur original macro breakdown! Do now add 20 lbs and for a rough estimate X it by 15(luckily this works for me) but if should give you an idea I'mIf how much more to eat daily(I've upped my intake during each meal when j found what worked for me... Then it's easier to add little by little(I'll taje quality gains over water any day of the wk... You shouldn't be bloating at all w/the diet you provided...
Try eating more nuts/almonds throughout the day... I've found that carrying a bag s/me works well especially when very active!

This is one of those debate threads. I would say with that cycle gaining 20lbs in your first 5 weeks that you hadn't hit your natural peak. I would call bs but this thread would go on for days. lol Oh well, I guess I just did.

I thought the same after writing... Lol that's why I even asked if he was bukking b/c if the mast(why on a bulk) don't see any affect(strength) but no vascularity at 10+
First I was going to say test E, it was probly placebo effect for first 3-4 wks... Then the diet training etc...
Funny though it could be fought about all fm day...

I am trying to bulk, and no I have no bloat and I added the mast after a friend had recommended to help with bloat and estro. I've also hear it "enhances" the test? Not sure if its true or not. Anyway I think I will try adjusting diet and getting a little more rest.

I just re read this and it makes sense. I had a piss poor diet and wasn't taking very good care of my self before I started this cycle. I have trained off and on for years but never for a sustained period of time. Maybe it was just the initial change of diet and training level that fueled the quick gains.

Yup Muscle Memory is a great thing along side a cycle and you've got quick growth but really only back to your initial size....diet is everything to a successful body and cycle!!! You would be much more happier if you sustained the diet first... Check out Marcus' the Prime b4 a Cycle... I'll never not do it anymore and you'll see why(very informative)

Let's see 6ft 1 and you weighed 170ish before the cycle? The real question should be.How much you will weigh 3months after your cycle.Something wasn't right here at the start.

Well I went through a long unhealthy "party" phase of my life had lots off money no respect or responsibility. Then prison came. Wake up call. Got healthy. Then wanted more. With lots of this and that in between. So yes. There was problems before, but even when I was in highschool I played corner, I ate bread with butter and sugar and couldn't gain a pound.

I was desperate to put on mass and had a lot of buddies that cycled and are in great shape. I will admit I sort of jumped into this head first but I've learned a lot and I research a lot. With that being said, I'm looking to bulk up. Thought I hit a peak and got some great advice now I'll take the advice and see what happens. Thanks.
