    reducing calories after cycle qs

    just curious at what rate people here reduce their calories from a bulk to a cut.I read an article that recommends reducing 250 cals every week.At that rate thqat would take me months to just get to maintenance.how do i taper down from a gear cycle after a week of high calories to maintain gains?any thaughts?tnx in advance

    I don't think that anyone should lower calories much until after they have recovered. Going straight from a cycle with excess calories to a deficit will be very catabolic. That is why I always leave about a ten week period between bulking and cutting where I lower calories gradually. If you have a target date you may have to take the plunge and lower calories quickly but expect to sacrifice some muscle.
