    Cycle while in Ketosis

As anyone here cycled while you where in ketosis? I wouldn't think there would be an issue because you have your protein level up just beyond your LMB. And if you carb backload you'll have the energy for the lift the next day....just seeing what people have experienced. Also because this had to do with a diet on cycle I didn't know which form to post this to. Thanx

I answered your thread in the nutrition section I guess. Anyway I have done it many times. If you respond well to a keto diet you will respond even better when on IMO. I would only do a CKD like you are referring to however, not an atkins type continuous no carb without carb loads or refeeds, that would not be a good idea IMO. A CKD however has worked great for me in the past.

I like keto diets for pre-contest, at least for myself. Anyway, they're tough but works well if you can stick to it, just a lot less room for cheating or screwing up than with other diets.

What on earth is the point in a carb load? Surely it just stunts the results? I love keto. You can't go in half hearted though. The results are insane.

The point of a carb load/refeed once a week (or once every couple of weeks, depending on your preference and how you respond) is to replenish glycogen stores in order to fuel your weekly workout and keep them intense.

Right, which is especially crucial when running T3 as it rapidly depletes glycogen stores. The carb load/refeed is crucial to aiding in muscle retention. Some even find thay can achieve a recomp, losing bodyfat and gaining muscle, several factors depending.
There are other smaller benefits to a refeed as well. Maximizing the insulin sensitivity a keto diet creates and creating quite the anabolic environment as well as a few others. If any readers have done Keto but never a CKD I suggest you give it a go.

Great, I should be good to go, just weird not "carb loading" before big lifts and such. But I'm on day 10 of keto and I haven't felt any decrease in energy in my lifts. So I feel good about that
