    Cycling with stents?

    Anyone still cycle after having stents implanted?

    I'm a nurse working in a cardiovascular unit. As long as you are still taking your plavix, effient or whatever antiplatelet agent they have you on, you should be good. In addition, you should incorporating something to reduce your cholesterol because certain gear will increase it.

    Yea I'm taking effient, plus baby aspirin and a statin. Thanks for the response. Those meds will lower my hematocrit right, I'm also on trt so you think I should still give blood every two months?

    No, they won't affect your hematocrit.
    I think that using AAS when you already have heart disease is a terrible idea.

    TRT is healthy if done correctly. Cycling AAS for performance enhancement is completely different.
