19 Years old first test cycle - Tips and advice wanted
Hey guys, figure I'll get straight to the point. I'm 19 years old and strongly considering running a cycle of test. Firstly, I'd like to say that I am aware that it is not advised to run any sort of cycle at my age, I plan on having my growth plates checked and blood work done before I come to a final decision. My reasoning behind wanted to cycle at my age is such: I'm currently a college student, and if there is any time I'd take a physical "boost," it's now. After I graduate I'll be (hopefully) entering medical school, and at that point, and beyond, I will not have enough time nor the desire to run a cycle of AAS, although I still plan on dieting and training.
I have 2 solid years of lifting and dieting experience under my belt, and probably a bit more if you count the time that I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I'm 5'9", and began lifting at 114 lbs. Currently, I weigh in at 170-175 lbs, and I would approximate myself to be 15% body fat, as I'm a little bloated from creatine and college meal plan food.
If I were to go through with this. I would be running an 8 week cycle of either test-e or test-cyp, depending on what my friend will have. I'll also be obtaining clomid and nolvadex for PCT. To be as safe as possible, I would also have hCG and an AI on hand for use throughout the cycle. I haven't yet figured out any dosing, as I'm unsure of what ester I would be using.
I'm looking for thoughts/opinions on this from those more experienced than myself, so I can make a better informed choice in something that would have a serious effect on my body. So, at 19, what sort of side effects would I be looking at, even if the cycle is done correctly and with all the necessary supplementation. Is there a large change of needing TRT for life, etc.
Any advice or opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Well, I did steroids when I was young and now that I am 45 I happen to be on TRT for life. The worst thing I did to myself though was screw with my sex life. I have had ED problems for decades, and that is not something I would wish on anyone. I understand your thought process and at least you are putting the right considerations in place. But, if you are asking for opinions, I have to be one who votes for you to wait. At 19 you have a lot of natural test blasting through your system and I would not screw with it now. I know you think that your future seems like a lifetime away. But, it all happens pretty quickly the older you get. Do not be afraid to save something fun for a little later. In any event, good luck with whatever you choose and I just wanted to offer my 2 cents.

Thank you both for the replies. I've already read through that linked post, and many like it, and it is the only reason for my hesitancy. I know that I can make good gains off cycle, I've been going at it hard for the last 2 years and I've been pleasantly surprised with the changes that have followed. I'm well aware that going through with this will have adverse effects, I guess I'm just weighing the odds, the pros and cons. I'll take a look through the database you posted. Thanks for supplying additional info.
As for Oki-Des, do you mind if I ask at what age you cycled, of what compound, and how many cycles?

It's good your hesitant b/c you should be! Oki will tell you his story and they're many like him in this boardm(Oki is my buddy and I've kearned a lot from him) and this place is great for everyone who lives this lifestyle(no juice required) just hard work/diet and BBing) it's great! Just read through the links and many like it - just when you think you've made your decision to cycle there's do many more pieces to educate yourself on SAFE AAS use! GL!

I started at 19 and was running 500mg of test per week. At that time I knew nothing about AI's, HCG or even PCT. So even though new protocol would have lowered my chances of negative sides they still can happen to anyone. I have been on TRT for nine years, but at 36 had the natural test levels of someone in their 70's. Therefore I probably should have been on it since I was much younger, but simply did not know. I do not know how many cycles I have even run, but it is in the dozens; with trt shots in between. I did a lot of stupid things too that I can still remember. For one, when I was 20 and going on vacation for two weeks shot myself up with 1500mg of test to get me through until I came home. Stupid I know, but keep in mind it was before Google even existed. Although we know more now, we will all know more in another 30 years and at least following commonly followed safe practices now will ensure the best possible outcome for your future.

I am pretty sure you fked yourself up not because you used gear but because you used it wrong and also abused it. Running dozen of cycles and injecting 1500mg is abuse as long as you are not pro and all pros are on TRT. I know that blaming early use might help you feel better but it is the abuse that caused you this problems.
P.S. I have asked a lot of pros and they said it is not the age that causes problems but the abuse and wrong usage of steroids that does.

Hey Max with everything said your obviously a smart guy and your gut is saying wait that's why your hesitant. Listen you have only been at it for 2 yrs with real training and diet and your only 19yrs old. Trust me you will grow like crazy over the next few yrs if you eat right and train and most importantly you will do it risk free. Most guys your age don't have the knowledge you can obtain on this forum there are young guys on this forum that look great and are doing it right for their age and maturity. Look up the member Kahizima he is good young guy doing right and getting huge results. Good Luck and be smart!!

When they know the guy whom they are talking to maybe?... I am a friend of the recent Balkan 2nd place winner. He is about 55 and he is in the bussiness for some time and this is not his only title, so he knows what he is talking about.
P.S. He has a young and beautiful wife despite he is not rich
He has 2 young daughters
He started roids as soon as he stepped in the gym at 16

Your the one who asked Oki what happened... Now b/c you know a pro that makes you equipped that what he did was abuse?!
Your getting all the RIGHT info but your trying to justify your answers b/c a pro is giving you advice... I can surely say he's most likely stuck in his old ways where science keeps advancing - and this site has all the safest protocols in place! Stop trying to justify that there are no risks b/c someone is advising you poorly(on the outside)! We have nothing to gain by telling you the truth except that you will save yourself from a lifetime worth of damage...Last edited by NACH3; 05-15-2015 at 01:58 PM.

Balkan first place may have better advice, I'd go look for him.
Obviously you aren't here for advice, you're here to try and find someone to say it's fine to go ahead. You won't find it here because it's a poor decision that adolescents make. You at 19 are an adolescent. You are talking about going to medical school yet you totally ignore advice that is given which is based on sound medicine. Not theory or broscience.
Good luck in whatever you choose.
