In Canada - Insurance problems for requesting bloodwork?

26 male. been on TRT for almost two years. I live really close to the U.S. Border, so I was able to get private bloodwork done when I needed too. I'm relocating in Canada, and won't be near a border.

My doctor doesn't know I'm on TRT or that I cycle steroids . I've always been hesitant to bring it up because I don't want 'steroid abuse ' or any other thing on my medical file that will cause insurance companies to deny me later on in the years when I have a family (potentially).

Will I face any insurance problems telling my doctor that I'm on steroids, and want to have regular bloodwork done? If I'm able to find a doctor that will accommodate my health and my needs, that would be awesome, but I'm not really comfortable of admitting this information and asking the doctor to keep it quiet on my medical file?

Or will I face any insurance problems, even if it is on my file in Canada?
