High prolactin levels, how long to wait?

    Hi all:

I've been cycling for a while now and never had any major issues until last year cycle, that started to have high prolactin symptoms, that was taken care of with caber.

Now this year I started a cycle with 750 mg a week of sustanon and seems like my prolactin started to get high again. had the same symptoms 2 weeks ago

    Extreme fatigue
    Headaches/vision problems
    Low sex drive
    Erectile dysfunction
even pressure on the optic nerves
    also had some bad acne

I started caber at 0.25mg E3D last week, but and some symptoms are gone already but still feeling lethargic and dizziness at sometimes at the day, but those symptoms come and go.

My question is, could it be still the same prolactin issue and have to wait little longer for the caber to solve everything and also might be some side effects from the same caber

Or you guys think might be also estrogen levels little high and need to add arimidex (actually pretty hard to find here in Costa Rica) or something else could do the trick?

Last time I did a blood work everything was ok but the prolactin, I've checked my BP last days and all good, even had a ECG and some chest X rays as a annually check that I take.
Next appointment for a blood work is in two weeks but just wanted to check with you guys before going to that.

    Thanks for the help

You have BW pulled recently? Kinda sounds like your blood needs to drained(you said you've been on a while)?? What's a while?

Your blood thickens(hematocrit)- with more RBCs thus raising your levels and the viscosity of your blood...

Prolactin shouldn't be an issue if your not running a progestin unless you already had high prolactin and now BW would be helpful... Without it we're all guessing...

What I meant with a while is that I have some cycles "under my belt", at least not the first one and until now have any issues.

High RBC crossed my mind too, been reading on that so I might go and donate some blood to see if it helps and due to prolactin, yeah I had a problem already with that, my appointment met with the doc for a full blood work is on 2 weeks, but just wanted to check if something could be made to helps some issues before that.

    Thanks for the reply

If caber hasn't fully done the job idk what it could be(maybe a vet can chime in) but if you had problems make sure he checks for stress too... Do you feel any more stressed(raised cortisol) but donating is always good you'll feel better regardless and do a double(DRBC)...

As far as the prolactin symptoms goes, caber has helped a lot... no more pressure on the optic nerves, neither Low sex drive nor Erectile dysfunction..but still having headaches, some dizziness, and sometimes blurry vision but that might be due to the heavy headaches, also some chest pain, but the ECG was good.

As I said this symptoms come and go through the day

May want to see if you can bump up the blood work appointment to get a clear picture as to what may be going on.

The only reason your prolactin would be high on a test only cycle is if you have high oestrogen levels (e2) or you have something such as a prolactin induced tumour(Prolactinoma)

Prolactinoma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i thought i had one one time and freaked out, just turns out that aftter countless cycles of running deca and tren without using a a DA, my body decided for some reason that this certain 19nor cycle would skyrocket my prolactin to the point where i felt so strange and out of place and my penis was just there for the looks haha.

Anyway, the problem is high prolctin and high E2 can have very similar sides, at least ive found. Very very hard to pinpoint without bloodwork, but i would say you could have a combination of both, one because your not using an AI so high E2, HIGH E2 would also most likely mean high prolactin, which ive found, once you start on an AI your prolactin will come back down, not sure how long as it varies, i used caber .50 every few days and mine cleared up within a week. Good luck mate.

ok I wett to the Lab last night and could get an hemogram (could not get the Test panel since was very expensive) but at least with this I think we might have an idea.

    RBC 5.56 reference 4.5 - 5.5
    Hemoglobin 17.3 reference 13 - 17
    Hematocrit 50% reference 40 - 50.3

Later on I will post the rest of the info, but what do you guys think about this? Could that be the one giving those symptoms?
Should I go donate some blood and will be ok just with that?

    Thanks for the help

It could be a contributing factor. When you feel the effects of elevated hema is indivudual.
If you have had high prolactin levels when not running progestins then you need an MRI of your pituitary to rule in/out adenoma's.
High prolactin suppresses testosterone as well.
    almostgone and NACH3 like this.

Thanks for the suggestion, next appoint I'll ask my doctor the MRI besides another testosterone panel to check that out.

Besides that today I went to donate blood already, waiting to see if I get a little better, just one hing I would like someone to clarify, don't have an idea if it's related, but couple of hours after the donation, I started having some erections, that did not have the past days, this has any relation due to the donation or just a coincidence?
