    Flashing Vision

You guys ever get this? Only happens in the dark, and just started yesterday. When I close my eyes for a couple of minutes, and then re-open them, my vision flashed like strobe lights. No joke, it's a real trip. Tonight it's even more pronounced.

It doesn't happen in full light.

I've googled it and it's not totally unheard of. Nobody has linked it to anything serious in some cases; as in, nobody has confirmed anything like that.

It could be from a mild overdose of pyrodoxine a couple years back.
It could be from overdoing some oxygen tank use a couple months back.

Or could it be from my current cycle? Too many variables!

    Test e
    Deca
    aromasin
    caber

You probably need glasses. Make an appointment with an Optometrist.

I'm at the eye doctor's office right now. My primary care guy said it could range from retinal detachment (fairly major) to simple "floaters".

It makes it tough to work through the possibilities when I can't tell these people about aas use and pct drugs.

Can anybody confirm or deny that this new development is or isn't from new steroid use please.

    test E (unlikely)
    Deca (idk)
    aromasin (maybe?)
    nolvadex (maybe?)
    cabergoline (maybe?)

I am definitely your new hypochondriac.

Like I mentioned in a few other posts, I've just recently acquired some mild anxiety. I think from quitting drinking and smoking weed.

Anyway, if your vision were flashing in and out, you'd be a little anxious too wouldn't you?

Still, new substances, new symptoms, you guys can see even someone without anxiety could draw these same conclusions.

So all joking aside, can anybody actually provide some useful insight.

I have always had floaters and had a detached retina a few years ago. Yes its no fun and quite major ordeal. I did not have any flashing with mine. I just noticed all of the sudden I had a blind spot on the side and it kept getting bigger until I know there was a problem.

Sounds like it could be due to high blood pressure and maybe from cycle. How was yours at the doctors office? It could also be simple eye strain. Most people spend way to much time staring at screens, myself included.

What did your eye doctor say? I would be more prone to think it has to do with your new meds or what you stopped more than the cycle except for possible blood pressure related.

anxiety could be from a high dosage of Deca . This is from my own personal experience running 700mg Deca EW. Dialed it down to 500mg and anxiety went away. Remember everyone responds different to various dosages.

As stated above, it could be many things. Even cabergoline can occasionally cause visual disturbances. I wouldn't guess around though. I would see an opthalmologist.

Eye doctor said everything looked fine, except for some mild histo scarring on my left eye. He did not seem concerned in anyway, and said that sometimes these things "are signs that you are burning your candle at both ends". He repeatedly referred to my sleep quality, which is generally very poor.

So basically, chill out and get more rest, is what he said. Fine, I'll try that.

My deca dose is not high at all, at 250mg a week. The anxiety had onset immediately after quitting weed and scotch, which was before I started my cycle- so I don't think it's from the deca.

As far as "not guessing around"-- This is really impossible because I can't tell my doctors that I'm doing steroids and other pharm grade drugs. So I mean shit, what then? I mean really.

Nah, I'll relax when my vision stops strobing like a disco.

So to play doctor I'm going to drop the deca and drop the caber. Finish out my test cycle. If the sides go away, then by process of elimination we can say deca or caber, with caber being the likely culprit.

    Thanks guys

I don't see how being advised to ignore FLASHING VISION, can be seen as good advice.

Maybe I like my eye sight too much to relate. Who knows.

Anyway, moving to test only this week.

How much sleep are you getting per night?
Sleep deprivation seems to give me vision problems too...

My sleep is generally terrible, and has been for a long time.

    I cycle between
    -melatonin
    -varius benzos (rarely)
-orange juice, pinneapples, bananas, cherries (contain melatonin)
    -flax seed and wheat germ

In the end, it is still never regular and hasn't been for over 10 years now.

still, the flickering is getting less severe, and I've dropped the caber. Half life should get the caber ineffective by next week. I'll add it back in if deca sides appears, and if the flashing returns then we have our answer.

I also switched from exemestane to letro to rule that out.

    Cool
