No real difference really. With Deca , you're completely shut down from your first injection. I recommend adding 2 weeks of PCT anytime Deca is used.

No, as Austinite said, just run your PCT an extra 2 weeks longer than if it was a test only cycle. Not because of the longer cycle but because you are using deca .

when running PCT 2 weeks longer, what would the clom/nolva doses be per day for those extra 2 weeks?

His cycle is 16 weeks long so by this maths if he runs it for 20 weeks he needs 10 weeks of pct...he has also running hcg the whole time so his planned 4 weeks pct imo should be the same as his original cycle that was 14 weeks 6 weeks pct is a waste of money considering as I said he is also running hcg 4 weeks is fine!

I believe your math/logic is incorrect. PCT is not 1/2 the amount of time one is on cycle. There are many factors involved. An extra two weeks of PCT costs no extra money if you buy your ancillaries from ar r. One bottle of tamox and one bottle of clomid is enough for 6 weeks of PCT. OP might be alright with only a 4 week PCT, but it's not worth the chance when using decca.

That's not how it works. Just state your opinion and let him make a decision based on replies. No need to start an argument.

Does this ^^^^^^ apply at any dosage amount and length of time? Thank you!

Stop using hcg 3 days prior to starting PCT. Clomid @ 75/50/50/50 @ nolva 40/40/20/20/20/20 should suffice

It will take about 13 days for test plasma concentrations to return to baseline after a 100 mg injection of npp. It will take over 20 days for test plasa concentrations to return to baseline after a 100 mg injection of deca .

Not really. I mean, no one really knows exactly what formula to use. Deca is likely the harshest steroid on your HPTA, therefore it is wise to extend PCT timing. The 2 week difference between the cycles mentioned (14 weeks vs 16 weeks) is not an impactful amount of time. 10 weeks vs. 18 weeks is a big difference and would call for a more aggressive PCT.

We have to remember that all of this is very individualistic and cannot be quantified with a formula, but based on history and how drugs interact with the majority, you can make judgment calls for the betterment of recovery. In other words, you can assume you'll be OK, or you can take some extra measure to better your chances at recovery.

The best method in my opinion for the common cycles with Deca (12 to 14 weeks), is to extend PCT for 2 additional weeks. You can use Nolvadex and drop clomiphene after the 4th week. Then you would wait 6 to 8 weeks and confirm recovery with blood work. If the results fail, run another PCT for 4 weeks and retest. If you're good, you're good.

I'm not interested in having an argument and if it looked like that I do apologise...I do however believe I was stating my opinion.I believe 6 weeks pct for a 16 week run which had deca in and whilst hcg was run is too much that's all..good luck.

Hey Aus.... Is it b/c of the deca that you'd run another 4 wk pct(if T-levels aren't at desired levels) or any time one is not fully recovered?? Just curious more so(as my T-levels are shot - I'm primary - appt for TRT in July)
    Thx

Clo would be 50 mgs a day and nov would be 20 mgs a day. If clo gets to be too much sides wise then at least run the nov the whole six weeks.

Not really, NACH. If any cycle compounds cause a PCT to fail, it's wise to run another PCT round before you seek long-term treatment. Be it clomiphene for several months or TRT. These final decisions should be made based on age. The younger a person is, the more likely they are a candidate for recovery with SERM therapy.

Perfect - was what I was thinking(regarding the extra pct) but wanted to understand it more so ... Always exhaust all avenues(of course) b4 going on to anykind permanent therapy(clomid/TRT etc).... Thx for your input aus!!
