Questions on First Cycle

Hi Guys!!

So reading this forum I have decided to take the suggested cycle mentioned in the sticky (12 week cycle)

Test E : 600mg a week (2x300mg) (week 1-12)

HCG: 250iu x 2 a week through out the cycle (week 1-12)

Arimedex: 0.25mg one every other day (week1-14)

Pct:

clomid and Novaldex for 4 weeks!

Questions:

1) A lot of people are telling me this is over kill, HCG not needed or that it should be used after the cycle. What is right?

2) Arimedex: should it only be used if side effects are seen?

3) People are also suggesting that I should have test with either deca or tren or with both? I'm looking to start small and simple is this wise or am I being over cautious?

2) No. Should be used from day 1.

3) Refrain from taking any advice from these "people" you speak of.

You should list your stats so we can give advice tailored to you.

I'm relatively new to this stuff as well, only on my third cycle. Everything I've always read has recommended that a first cycle should be test alone, as it's the base for everything else. This way you can see what effects you're getting from the boost in test and you can modify with something else to more suit what you're going for the second time around. That's what I did. Just an idea.

My stats are:

5ft 8
72kg
Fat: 15.2

Been going gym for about 8 years now, diet is getting much better, hitting around 3000 calories a day (45% carbs, 40% protein, 15% fat).

What other stats do you need guys?

So basically stick to Austinites post (only difference doing 600mg instead of 500mg)

Of course there is a difference between 500 and 600. Over the course of 12 weeks that's 1200 more mg you'll inject. Keep it simple for your first round, how old are you bud?

Ok, I'm going to be the guy that seems as though he's coming off as a d*ck, but I assure you, I mean well.

158 lbs @ 15% bf after 8 years of training......there's something wrong with your diet, or your training, or both. And the reason why that's a problem is if you can't make acceptable gains without the use of AAS, then you'll never make/keep them while using it. I would suggest you take a look at your diet/training and have both on point before cycling. You'll be much happier with the results. I'm about 3/4" of an inch taller than you, and I started AAS about a year and a half ago at around 15% bf as well, and had about the same amount of training experience as you. The only difference is I weighed 190lbs.

We have a great diet and workout section with very knowledgeable members who would be happy to help you out. I suggest you head over there and post up your current diet for critique, along with your training routine in the workout section. We're all here to help! Good luck, OP!

Austinite: I'm 33 years old. Only reason I am doing 600mg is because that's all I can get my hands on. Well it's a 300mg vile and was going to do it 2xweek.

There is a 500mg blend of the three types of test but I dont want to use that.

Musclestack: I totally agree with you! Something is wrong. I basically have slowed down for the past two years because of work but I am getting back to it. When I mentioned the 8 years it was more about me knowing how to work out. My heaviest was 82kg, but life problems hit me hard and lost a lot.

I won't be touching anything until I have everything on check first. I want to ask all the questions now and avoid rushing when I think I'm ready! Everyone thinks I'm being over cautious but I prefer to be prepared and know what I'm doing first instead of just jumping on it like others.

IMHO I don't even think about Tren for first 4-5 cycles, my mate used Tren A at a very small does and dropped on second week, too strong

Do not listen to others when it comes to tren ......in fact you could run two tes only cycles and do well. Follow Austinites advice and thread and you will be pleased with the results. Save stacking for when you are ready.

Btw..... .8 cc's will give you 240 mgs if your stuff is dosed at 300 mgs per ml.
