Quad injection

I'm doing everyday shots, and after checking out spotinjections I had a quick question about the quad shot. I'm assuming you are shooting in the outer part of the quad, correct? What's the rule of them for finding the spot? Isn't something like, standing straight up and where your pointer finger hits your quad? Thanks guys.

I've hit just about every part of my quad from the bottom to the top. I just poked around and/or pinched to find the places that seemed to have the least amount of nerves...so far, so good. Though, i have to say that the injections leaving some lingering pain were down on the quad a little, more towards the bottom.

That's a good way to start to find a spot. You can pretty much go anywhere on the outside of the quad... just make sure you asperate before you inject there are a lot of veins in there.
