test p melting nipro syringe plunger

Nearing the end of my 2nd week on cycle and just started a 2nd vial of UGL 100 mg/ml test p. This is my first time using this brand, but it's one of the top UGLs in the states.

This morning I had an issue with the plunger on a Nipro 3 ml syringe degrading and flaking off. This is the first time it has occurred and took place within 5-6 minutes after drawing. The syringes were bought brand new last summer and have an expiration of Nov 2018. I used the same box of syringes with my last cycle, which included test p, with no issues.

I spoke with the chemist and was told that he uses the same recipe as everyone else and that my syringes were bad. Can anyone shead some light on what may have caused this issue?

it may be the makers fault if syringes didn't expire may have used the wrong kind of solvents

EO can do this. Is he using that in his brewing?

Yeah I believe there is some EO included but it's mostly MCT. It draws smooth through a 25 g and has zero PIP.

EO is known to melt/disintegrate rubber plungers in syringes. I would bet it is that. The syringes are not defective IMO. Most just dont keep the gear in the syringe long enough for the breakdown of the rubber to occur. Apparently 6-8minutes is long enough for this to occur. Thats my opinion anyway.

Thanks for the input jimmy. I won't be answering anymore phone calls in between drawing and shooting lol.

I bet its the EO. Another reason I don't like pre loading syringes.

Sunlight will also degrade rubber, I'd avoid that too!!

One reason I dislike EO is it is used an a plasticizer in the injection molding industry. Who knows if the EO in UGL is industrial use or suitable for injections?
Don't get me wrong, proper EO is great, but I have a feeling a lot of UGL products use industrial grade EO.
