Testing if HCG is legit

So I've heard that the way to see if hcg is legit is to use a pregnancy test and apply a small amount and if the test comes back as pregnant than you're g2g. Is this true? Or is it like labmax where it could be under dosed but the compound still present? Anyone get a pregnant reading on the test and have it turn out to be crappy hcg?

In my experience the inexpensive generic test kits from the dollar store work better then the brand name tests. They will all be positive if your hcg is good, but the generic tests seem to require less hcg for activation. If you're not getting a positive reading then use more hcg. It usually takes at least 500 IUs for a true reading.
