Lot of bleeding from shoulder pin

Just pinned my right shoulder for 3rd time, and I had a lot of blood come out when I pulled needle out, enough to soak a large napkin. I aspirated and made sure I wasnt in a blood vessel, and I waited 30sec after finishing injection before pulling out. First time this happened, is there anything I should worry about? Also how do I know if the gear also spilled out with the blood or is it still inside?

To me it sounds like you just kicked a vein. You should be fine. If you take aspirin it will happen more often. Sometimes it just happens no matter where you inject. Sounds like you did things right. Just apply pressure and do not use that site for a week or so or you will get scar tissue more than normal.

It may bruise too but if you haven't coughed your guys up pretty soon after injecting you will be fine.

Good, bleeding stopped after a min or so and it sealed up. so far not much pain, we'll see tomorrow. Hopefully gear is still inside..

Your ok you just nicked or went through a vain just apply pressure with a clean alcohol swab. you did aspirate so you were not in a vain or you would know all about it just like bib said you would be coughing you guts up.
