Thread: What was he on?

  1. #1
Hey everyone! Back when I was in high school I had a quarterback who had a decent arm and was decently fast with not much muscle. However, once the summer hit and summer training began the kid transformed. He became faster, he was able to throw the ball almost twice as far and he doubled in muscle mass. Granted, he did not miss single practice all summer, he was not the only one and no one else had results like that. We did notice a change in behavior, such as aggression from time to time also. Even though there were rumors of what he took there was never a straight forward answer and he's going to take that info to the grave with him. Any idea what he was on?

    Food and exercise!

No doubt some drugs, I've seen some of the young 'football players and they're monstrous
    Men.

Without getting a breakdown of his diet, training and drug routine. It could be anything. You'll never know. And even if you did. It wouldn't work exactly the same for you.

At that age range (15-19yr old) ur testosterone is out of this world.. Food and training can put a good amount of mass on. Studies show provided that they follow a sensible, structured diet and training program, a 150-pound beginner fitness enthusiast in Aragon's model can potentially gain 18-27 pounds of lean muscle there first year training. A 170-pound intermediate fitness enthusiast can potentially gain 10-15 pounds of muscle. So it can be done.

Haha no. It was not just training and diet. And I'm not asking so that I can take it, just curious.

Depends on height.. Nobody under 5'10" is going to gain 15 lbs of lean mass at 170 if they're under 12% bf to begin with regardless of whether they're 15, 18 or 21..

Hard to say. At that age if your dedicated and do things right your body is very anabolic and some grow very well during this period. Nothing like naturally high hormone levels.

Everything about this is a ridiculous statement. Neither are possible.
