    orals for diabetes question

    Good morning boys,
I have a who is type 1 diabetic I have coached him through several cycles with great success the muscular development department and health department. Approached me the other day about jumping on an oral. I told him that orals aren't the safest route for is already under a lot of stress. I had suggested my liver friendly oral such as t-bol @ 50mg or var @ 60/70mg. Is this a bad idea or should he double up the NAC dosage? Also will clen cause stress on the liver or kidneys for a T1D? thanks boys

I'm no expert in what your asking, tice... But I'm thinking that var or T-Bol would be fine - just have him run labs(say after 3-4 wks and reasses) but they'll still be broken down by the kidneys)- ... Hopefully a vet will chime in!

    And one did lol

What does diabetes have to do with liver enzymes?
And Tbol is actually pretty rough on the liver, based on past experiences.

Diabetes can cause Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and vice versa which can cause liver enzyme abnormalities.

I didn't mean to talk about liver enzymes in correlation w/diabetes(I know it looks like it) meant to say kidneys(getting processed by the kidneys - but if T-Bol is harsh(never ran it myself) then itd still be wise to get em checked - im sure it's much harder on his kidneys as he's a diabetic - like I mentioned im glad a vet chimed in...

I thought T-Bol is dubbed poor mans var - and it was just as mild?!

That's only associated with type II DM.

You are absolutely correct. I missed that he was Type I.

Also I agree that t-bol is not really mild on the liver. It may not be the most hepatotoxic but it certainly is not as mild as something like anavar .
