    FNG I don't even know where to start......

    There is so much info on this forum that its overwhelming, it will take me some time to sift through the searches. A little about me.

    38yrs old
    180lbs
    6'0

    I've been lifting for the past two years but NOT consistently unfortunately. I have taken cycles of Hdrol and haloplex through out the years with good results. June 1st I started with a certified trainer 2 times a week and workout on my own the other 4 times a week. I've gained 7lbs (with hdrol) and went from 12% to 9% body fat. Very happy with the gains so far. I honestly would like to try something for bulking and haven't a clue where to start. There is so much missinfo out there that I don't know how to cut through the bullsh*t and get to what I really need and to do it correctly and the most healthy way. I don't compete, I'm just a married guy with two kids, marketing director for a machining company that wants to get big and ripped. Don't laugh but somewhere in the range of Steve Cook and Dewayne Johnson. I have no idea if either those guys use or not but doesn't matter.

    Don't roast me here as I know I'm not supposed to ask and I'm not going to ask......but once I do get the low down on what I need I haven't a clue where I'm going to get it. I see adds on this forum but have "chatted" with a online chat guy that says they only carry natural supplements. Test600x and Deca 200 natural? I think I get it and probably goes without saying why I got that response. I don't know I need guidance in a bad way and don't know where to start....my head is spinning.

    Welcome to the forum. Lot's of natural supplements are not really worth the money with the exception of creatine, multivitamins, protein powders and perhaps SOME bcaa or PWO but that's not totally needed either...yes they BOTH use...and you would have to use fairly consistently to look like them as well...Post your diet in that appropriate section and you'll have the experts critique it to fit your goals..And if you want to start cycling you should check out the "planning a successful first cycle" sticky and you will be able to steer yourself into the right direction to continue gaining well

    Welcome aboard. I agree with davidtheman^^^. Remember, there is no rush. There is a lot to read (the important stickies) and learn. Also, a cycle is a mere part of a plan - workouts, nutrition, goals, evaluations, blood work, etc. The only way to make a good decision on whether to cycle, and if so, how and how much, requires that you learn. We are here to help each other out, so read up and ask a lot of questions.

    Welcome! There is a lot of info here and it is over whelming! focus on dialing in your diet and getting a good workout routine stapled down. That's the most important part. Just keep reading and eventually it will start to sink in. It took me a long time to completely grasp it and I'm constantly learning something new everyday!

    With the help of my trainer, my workout and diet is in check. I'm ready to speed things up and gain an edge just like everyone else I suppose. Its a rabbit hole it seems. Thanks for the help guys.

    Welcome Brent. First thing is nutrition. Ya gotta eat more. At 6' you have room to easily add LBM before embarking on AAS. Main reason I say this is that if you're not eating enough to support added muscle then you'll simply lose that muscle when your cycle is over and be back where you started, metaphorically throwing your money out the window. If you want to be 200 lbs then you need to eat with that as your goal. Visit the Nutrition Forum and post up your daily diet and let the vets there break things down for you. Get this avenue straightened out first and then you'll have a successful cycle following Austinites Successful First Cycle thread at the top of this forum.

    ps: Most guys "think" they eat enough to gain muscle but in reality they don't.
