First cycle, would it be safe to stay on and not cycle as feel great!

Hi all, im sure this has been asked b4 but i cannot find anything that relates to my situation.
Me, Im 44 and this is my first time using steroids which is Testosterone Enanthate Im on week 12, dose was 250mg week 1-10 and 500mg 11 and 12.

The reason I'm thinking of staying on is how good i feel, my sex drive has gone through the roof 10x what it was, i have more confidence and energy than before and just feel happier. When i was on only 250mg i didn't feel as good as this.

I'm thinking maybe due to my age my testosterone levels were low, i wouldn't bother going to the doctors to check as its unlightly that the NHS in Britain would do anything about it, it would just be a case of being told that that's what happens when you get older.

Any advise on the pitfalls of staying on would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'd PCT like you normally would. Wait about 6-8 weeks and go see a doctor to see if in fact you do have low T. If you don't. You could be damaging your body. You don't want to dedicate yourself to weekly pins if you don't have to. It sounds like a great idea now but it will get old quick. There are many guys here that would jump at a chance to have normal test ranges.

Also we all feel that way while we're on. That's why it gets so addicting

I was asking exactly the same question on my first cycle. Try not to get seduced by the power lol. A kind member here suggested I should settle for being a sex god for just some month of a year lol. Staying on will cause your body to get used to the doses and it will find its balance and your labido and other positive emotions will return to normal. I made plenty of excuses as to why I should stay on or get TRT, but my post cycle bloods came back normal (although in the lower range of normal). Much better to wait till you need TRT rather than damaging your body so you need it. Enjoy it while you have it but have respect for what you are doing to your body.

John34. I'm 41in a few months, I'm on TRT doing injections once a week, I felt like shit before I went and got checked out. Grouchy, aches, lazy. On TRT I feel good, not as good as I feel when I'm on cycle but a vast improvement over what I was feeling before. Being tied to a needle for the rest of my life is something that I don't look forward to. I wanted to cruise for a long time, but thought better of it.

Hi and thank you for your reply's, i have took on board all you have said and it makes good sense, and phoenix25 really brought it home to me that "saying on" will only give my body time to get used to the hormone boost and there will be no top feelings after a while, so i shall enjoy being king for a day and a peasant the rest of the time.
    Thank you all.

No need. Run your pct, wait at least two months and pull BW. In the Finding a Doc Sticky thread at the top of the HRT Forum is a good list of Blood Work to obtain. Then you can make an informed decision and if TRT is needed you'll have a clear conscience. In the meantime, there are many ways to improve oneself through nutrition and supplementation. Visit the HRT Forum and read up!
