Lean bulk or bulk than cut cycles? Which one!?

Question- is it better to go on a bulk cycle than a cut cycle?
Or
Do a lean bulk cycle?
Reasons of your choice and how long would you run the cycles?

From what I gather its always bulk then cut
However, in order to answer your question more specificaly, I think that would depend on ones current stats and goals?
For example;
If you have a low body fat of say 10% and your happy with that bodyfat and are looking to gain a bit more size then id go for a lean bulk.
If you can post your stats, goals, cycle and training history then you will get a better response suited to your needs.

My goal is to add a bit of size first. I started off at around 172lbs and I'm currently at 182lbs. 5th week into my cycle of Test E @ 500mg twice a week. Dianabol suspension @ 50mg every day (half in the morning, half before my workout).
I've been training for around 6 years now.

Id bulk until your happy with your mass then cut.
While bulking make sure your diet is clean and your doing cardio, it will make the cutting process a lot easier.

Don't ever cut during pct - your test is nil and you need to eat just as big as you were on cycle to maintain your new gains(reasses your TDEE as you'll have gained weight meaning more cals t maintain)
You don't need to run a cut cycle to cut either - you can cut on any compound barring your nutrition is on point - pick one or the other(bulk or cut) I see no point in cutting unless you've reached your full potential in mass gains - then harden up and dry out - unless your competing IMHO
Regardless your nutrition will dictate your gains whether it's a cut or bulk - if lean bulking up your cardio to suit your goals

I would leave your doseage to 500mg a week
Your at week 5 of test e, be patient, your results will start showing soon, it takes 5-6 weeks for test e to begin to get going never mind results

It will be released in your body now, but for actual gains etc its a little to early.

So, you're only eating 150 grams of carbs per day on a lean bulk diet? What are your fats (dietary) at? Are you sure you weren't just putting on water weight and not fat? I wouldn't expect big results in terms of mass with that kind of diet. Also, at 6 feet, 188 lbs, and 17% body fat, I would venture to say that you need to do some research/work in the diet department. Not trying to be a dick, just my opinion.

I agree with musclestack, you should probably be much heavier than 188lbs at your second cycle at 6ft, eat more buddy

Far too much mate
Too much arimidex will hinder your gains!
0.25mg every other day is what you should start on, then when you get mid cycle bloodwork done adjust if needed.

My arimidex come in 1mg pills i bite them in half then in quaters.
I dont know how you would split capsuals up
Are they 0.5mg caps?
I wonder if you could take 0.5 every 3 days?

LOL I always feel great when I can't fit into my clothes anymore! It's doubtful that you gained that much fat in such a short time, especially at only 300 grams of carbs per day. This is undoubtedly due to water weight as a result of the dbol and possibly not keeping estrogen in control. Adjust your AI accordingly but, if I were you, I would increase your calories and make the most out of your lean bulk. If you DO happen to put on a bit of fat, you can always cut later after PCT.

You need bloodwork to know what your estoegen/e2 is like.
I wouldnt be upping your adex dose. Your already taking 0.5 a day.
You could open the caps and get some digital scales and weigh it and split it in half, might be a bit of a mess on though.
Yes ive heard of liquid arimidex , but my source doesnt sell it nor have i seen or used it before.

I wonder if you can split the powder in half and mix it in a small cup of water stir it and drink it.
If anything and your stuck take 0.5mg every other day
But realy you should be on 0.25 every other day
0.5 every day is way too much

Agree with Tax. Don't up your Adex; you're already taking quite a bit. You can take mid-cycle bloods next week (end of week 6) to see where your E2 is. The water weight probably came from the dbol . I take an AI with all of my cycles, but I still always hold a bit of water, and I don't even take oral kick starts! I still stand by my advice to increase your calories. Make the most of the cycle. If your E2 comes back within an acceptable range, then you have nothing to worry about. The water weight will fall off once you drop the dbol.
