    Help a noob!

Howdy everyone, I've been doing a lot of reading here on the forums and the guides, and I wanted to run a few questions past y'all. I'm trying to pick back up some of my muscle mass in my legs, that atrophied after spending a lot of time in the hospital about a decade ago, for severe nerve damage. I was in physical therapy for about a year and a half after I got out of the hospital, and I was never able to pick back up a lot of the muscle I lost. I have been going to the gym off and on for the past few years, and still haven't had much luck, which brings me here. I'm not looking to get into professional bodybuilding or anything, nor add an outrageous amount of mass, but I would really like to put some shape back into the insides of my calves, and wouldn't mind filling out a little more in general. In an ideal situation, I'd cycle once, MAYBE twice, but not more than that unless I have some sort of revelation and can't get enough. So what I'm looking for is something that would give me sustainable/longer lasting gains, promotes strength over size, maybe can be injected in my calves?, and that doesn't require cycling over and over. Maybe I'm asking for the moon, but if that's the case feel free to call me an idiot. Thanks for taking the time to read!

    Oh, and about me:
    30, 5'11", 170 lbs, ~18% body fat

That's it mate. At 170lbs at that height and bodyfat it sounds like you have natural potential for lots more muscle.

Post your diet up in a new thread in the diet section for critique.

    Good luck.

I agree with BIB, you say you dont really want to add muscle or go deep in to bodybuilding, i think you can get your legs back in good condition with a good diet and commitment over time without the use of AAS
