Accutane?

Has anyone used accutante recently to rid pimples?

im reading online it has severe side effects but i guess that comes with any medication.

Used it years ago, will dry you out big time, make sure you have your Chapstick handy. Very effective med but very harsh on the liver as well. Prob not the smartest thing to use on cycle but I know many do. I was advised to have monthly liver tests every month for the 4 months I was on.

Its not like any medication, its very hard on your liver.

Agree that taking it during cycle can exponentiate problems.

Needs to be taken minimum 3 months.

You don't have to use it in high doses like they prescribed to teens. I'll just take a 20mg capsule 2-3 times per week on cycle (or anytime I start getting acne) and it clears it right up.

I 2nd Bonaparte. I took the same dosage along with DAC for liver support and no acne issues.

Agree with Bonaparte and Scotchguard. I always keep it handy and, when I start to break out, I take 10mg EOD (split the 20mg capsule in half). I usually start to break out in about the 3rd week (with short ester compounds), so I will start then and run it through the duration of my cycle, so I generally take it for about 9 weeks. I've never had problems with acne during PCT.

Low dose and youll be fine with minimal if any sides...

Harsh sides comes from insanly high dose that are prescribed.

Accutane is a mirace for those prone to acne...
Even on 200mg test a week my acne was intense.
Since I used accutane(still use it on occasion) I just get slight acne on 1g test/week.
Only sides I ever noticed was dry lips.
And it didnt even elevated my liver enzyme...

So accutane all the way
