Help with low dose first test cycle?

    Hi guys
My first post here, this is a well respected forum hope i can at least get some straight answers here.
Had my test levels checked and they are very low, sitting at 180.
Ive been training solidly for 2 yrs and made no gains and my recovery is terrible, hence i thought a blood test to check my levels was the right thing to do.
Im thinking 250mg test cyp once a week for 10 weeks.Ive heard hcg is important to supplement with but i just cannot get hold of any.
My main goal is to get my test levels up to respectable levels which i think are 600 - 800.

Can anyone add any advice here to my ideas?

Was your physician not concerned about a 180 test level? How old are you?

If you have trained hard for 2 years without gains I would guess your food intake is the problem more so than testosterone levels .

I had my test levels independantly checked. The gp's are clueless about the effect of low test.I was very overweight sitting at about 27% bf and have now dropped to 13% bf and lost 60lbs.I have been in a calorie deficit for a long time.I am 42yrs old.As soon as i go above 1600 cals which is not alot of food for a big guy like me,im 6'3,i put fat on my chest and belly.

You need to have the cause of your low test investigated.

    Where do you live?

i live in south africa.Im getting my LH,FSH,Estradiol,Prolactin & cortisol tested as well.We have good medical here but its extremely expensive.
Our GPs are very good but are not very clued up on TRT.I would need to see an endocronologist but would wait 3 mnths for an app and they are killer expensive.
