bedtime habits while 'ON' need more rest!

I'm trying to cut out some of my bad habits because I tend to go to sleep earlier, take naps more often, and go to sleep when i'm tired if my life is simpler.

    1. i'm completely removing some habits/hobbies from my life / PS4 is getting put away. done

    2. cutting out coffee. day 2 off coffee

    3. making the computer more mobile by turning it's WIFI back on because i normally keep the WIFI off. I want to be able to use it in bed. done

how else could i make things easier for me to rest.

The plan today is to nap/watch movies on the couch in the living room and use my Bench press, EZ bar, dumbell, and pull up bar to do some things, also in the living room. My gym is closed and i was up until 2am last night. -currently watching dogma.

Hahhaha, Dont worry, many of us love the new technology which is making our lives lazier but its not hard to fix also if you work hard, train hard then in your own time you deserve to relax and you do need rest to recover, It doesnt sound like you are working full time?

Also I never in my life took naps as they make me sick lol avoid day time naps and you will be good to sleep in the night also the gym timing matters.

Just get more sleep and stay on a schedule. Do not take away the things you like to do

Nothing wrong with coffee. Actually healthy for you, just drink it without sugar and avoid it at night.

    simple, just do it.

if you cant exersise self control, nobody here can make you do it.

Sit in a quiet part of the house and think of a plan, what you need to do, and do it.

When you fall, get up and do it again until it sticks. Repeat until it works.

Like kel said coffe is good for you, if youre worried about it keeping you awake just dont drink it i believe 5 hours before the round about time you go to bed

Also if you want to sleep or take naps dont watch TV, lights stimulate the brain and keep it from falling asleep, especially bright flashing ones, like I listen to the news before I go to sleep but I put a sheet over my tv

Be careful falling asleep and a tv orverheating or a spark could easily fry that sheet.

Back to the original topic - im lucky if i get 7 hours sleep a night, it takes me a while to wind down and my 19month old son loves to wake up during the night, hes a very stimulated child its almost like hes high on caffeine permantly, and i have to be up at 6am for work :/

Get all the stimulating devices out of your room. This includes TV, phone, ipad, etc. When you get on these things at night the brightness simulates sunrise which wakes you up (so I read). I like a little white noise too (small fan) and a blacked out room.

Thanks for all your replies. they are very helpful. thank the good lord i can drink coffee again, but i'm concerned about my BP it's around 92bpm at rest. i'm taking a diastolic systolic reading tonight. wont the coffee jack my bp? I hate high bp and i'm working to lower it, but scrips aren't an option for me at the moment.

The tren had me sleeping very strangely last night. it was like i was thinking deeply all night. i was asleep, yet not asleep. i had another injection today and decided to use 250mg deca and 150mg test sus. what negative aspect does pulsing tren have?

tomorrow is cardio and tonight was part 1 of a shoulder routine. -currently reclined on the couch with the computer. gonna eat some enchiladas and do some stuff with my bench press, e-zbar, and pull up bar after i rest and eat. I work full time.
