Yes and easy morning fix also. Just add to ur black coffee on the morning.
I think this sums it up perfectly, but with one exception, that bodybuilding SHOULD be promoted but people should be honest about using and not using, so people know what is realistic expectations and what is not. As we all know, there is nothing wrong with using gear if you are educated enough to know what you are doing and it is your own choice, but people should be educated in the pros and cons of it.
I went on a cycle once because I was fed up with my lack of results, or at least the lack of results that I perceived I should of had. But I realised that my expectations were not in line with reality. You can build your physique up naturally, but it takes a lot more time, years even, to see proper growth when training naturally. Roughly 7-8kg of lean muscle a year, that's not a lot.
I think it's liars and frauds like Mike O'Hearn that do so much damage to peoples lives because of this unrealistic expectation which the fitness industry portrays in order to sell their products. To be honest, I don't know if it is a far stretch to say people like Mike O'Hearn should be prosecuted for fraud for the damage they do to peoples lives.
People in this thread have been making comments like "yeah, he does gear so what?" but they are totally missing the point. It's the fraudulent nature that is damaging to peoples lives. Where does someone draw the line between stealing a purse and stealing money through deception?
Damage done by fraudsters such as Mike O'Hearn to those who are natural (adding to commenter qscgugcsq's list):
Unhealthy to push your body to such limits which can lead to illness
Scamming people out of money
Promotes eating disorders
Promotes body image disorder
Promotes drug use in people (especially young) when they don't see those unrealistic results
Psychological trauma of false hope and being lied to and deceived out of time and money
Detrimental to your social life when you spend so much time trying to reach those unrealistic goals
Influencing people (especially young) to think that is acceptable to lie and cheat in order to get ahead and make money through fraud
people like mike work very hard for their muscles, very hard, blood and sweat, and he dont want anyone to say its from steroids, and i can understand that,he wouldnt look like that without steroids, but lots of other guys wouldnt look like him if they were on steroids,it is not magic,it is what he does, blood and sweat, killing it and sacrificing lots of things to be where he is.
today there are many misconceptions about steroids, such as on first cycle you can look like arnold did back in the day,no you cant, you cant,he has done many cycles to be where he is now (mike ohearn) ,so he is looking way to much what the others will say about him,and he shouldnt
that being said i dissaprove his lying about steroid use,but the internet is full of them, chris jones, twin brothers, lui marco,oh sure theyre all natural on the daily, and they're all way skinnier than mike ohearn, they will never top him out
not special fan of his,and not defending him,but i like him more than lazy bastards that eat chips in their bed and watch his videos with jelaousy thinking i can do that with steroids too
I can't stand that guy. Not because of his lies, he just seems like a prick.
I find it odd that mike and rich piana do training videos together they hardly compliment each others images.
Also what are his dogs for what issue does he have?
We're all brothers in iron.
I feel for the guys still in the gear closet... afraid to simply be who they are for fear of judgement from society.
Its about time we help our secretly enhanced bretheren remove the shackles of shame, stand up and shout to the world:
"We're here! We use gear! We shoot juice in our caboose!"
I guess what I'm trying to say is...
who gives a shit really.
Lift and let lift.
