    What led you to trt?????

This is a question to trt users, what led you to hrt or trt?what went wrong or what where the factors or reasons that you believe in having low test levels and need for trt?am asking this so that can avoid having the need for trt because of steroid use so that we can learn from people who ended on trt the risk factors or the things you guys did wrong, thanks

You should post this in the correct section and maybe read some threads in there.

Well if you want limited responses don't bother posing in the TRT section where people who are TRT hang out. You're kind of assuming, or only want to hear about, potentially AAS induced hypogonadism.

It's a bit like posting a diet question in here because it's an on cycle diet, sure you'll get some responses but......

What led to TRT? A micro-adenoma which led to a T level of 59.
Avoiding the need for TRT due to AAS? That's simply a crap-shoot. You can cycle for decades and recover just fine, or once and never truly recover. Risk reward.

I also believe you will get better/more responses in the HRT section but many factors out of a reasonable control can lead to TRT, lifestyle, medications, age ( most common).
I do not believe there is a such thing as "safe" cycling to avoid having to eventually need TRT. As Kel stated some guys cycle for decades and recover while others may have one permanently damaging cycle. Just never know.

Never cycled as a youth or adult, No tumors, never took any pro hormones. I never took anything other than protein and creatine.

I worked for the government in a highly stressful position up until 2 years ago when I retired , did my job averaging anywhere from 4-6 hours of sleep for several years and I believe that's what led to my hpta shutdown. The stress and lack of sleep brought me back a total t of 144 at 34 years old.

My doctor believes my long-term use of pain medication (opiates) led to me having low T.

No.... Opiates do have a profound effect on ones T levels not just sometimes that smoking and Alcohal will crush your T levels as well as any type of head or testicular trauma!

Furthermore, one never really gets their T levels back to as high as they were prior to a cycle let alone many... Some are gifted in this department and are still not on trt but overtime(even using all the ancillaries we have and further protection) still can have you recover just not to pre cycle status(hence BW b4 mid post)

    ^^^ that's basically what happens!

A car accident(both head and testicular trauma) led me to hypogonadism but I never fully understood that until I had joined here...
I got BW done and saw that my levels at 30yrs old were that of an 80yr old man... I looked into a doc b4 getting educated on the matter in depth(had gotten the dreaded your fine tho I was significantly out of the bottom range we're talking high 200sng/dl) and decided to run a mild test prop/primo/var cycle(long cycle of 16 wks - bad move) which took me about a yr to recover instead of taking my time and getting my hypogonadism under control
Of course wanting to turn heads is part of this game - and so is trt!

It's tough but I wouldn't recommend that at all! Should be under a doctors supervision - some people do what they feel is best and though you could save $$ it's more about the UGL your using for your trt! Furthermore, the importance of BW for dialing in your AI(if even needed) HCG some like 250iu 2-3x wkly or 100iu ed... It's the BW that dials everything in...

I'll put it like this - anyone with low t knows how awful the feeling is... I couldn't understand why I had no NRG, no focus didn't even want to live, had a great life/friends/family/fiancé etc it changed me as a person - my well being was crap... And all for nothing... A fixable problem - once I realized that by learning here I will say I won't ever live that way again - It's horrible and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
