How to avoid/control Acne while on cycle?
Yes I read Austinine's thread on getting rid of acne with b5 and zinc and what not.
But what I want to know is, is there anything I can do to prevent it?
Any body wash's you guys recommend that help? Maybe some creams or even Accutane to take while on cycle?
I used to have pretty bad acne in the past but got rid of it using Accutane. I am pretty sure I will get some acne again when I do my first cycle since I am so prone to it so I want to plan ahead and do everything I can to avoid it.
Thanks for any help

I'm very prone to acne as well. I've had acne issues since grade 7. I thought my skin would blow up too, but I haven't yet. Keep your water intake high, shower after your workouts and use an acne cleanser on the area of your body where you are most prone to acne (for me it's my face and neck). I use Oxy Pads. They're pretty effective.
Hope that helps mate. Cheers.

I've incorporated low dose Accutane (20mg/day) into my cycles and have pretty well eliminated acne.
I used to get pretty bad cystic bacne on cycle. Not anymore.

I'll tell you my secret.... I use a special shampoo called nizoral, use it on your body it works amazing for hormonal acne.

Saying that shower frequently and tan solves acne its like saying that green tea cures cancer.
Having 5 pimples is not having acne.
Isotretinoine is the only thing that works on medium and severe acne, but it comes with an array of crazy side effects.
Nizoral does nothing for acne.

Dial now makes an acne control soap bar with salicylic acid. It works wonders showering right after a work out with it.

Why is it a shampoo then? Why isn't a body wash?
Exactly thank you. However the side affects of Accutane aren't as bad as you think they are.
I had 0 side affects while taking Accutane expect maybe some dry lips but use chapstick and you're fine. Loved it and will probably take in on cycle.
Dish soap????!!

The side effects im talking about can be unnoticed, after one month of use at 20mgs my ALT was at 130. Other side effects can only appear years later.
Dont take any orals steroids while on it.

My cycle acne is about as bad as it comes... My back, shoulders, chest, and even down my arms gets covered with huge deep cysts... It's painful and itchy... Tanning worked wonders for me. Not saying it will work for everyone but it cleared me right up.

I've never used accutane, cuz mine is backne and it is bad after a work out i dunno , i think pimples pump up too. But i don't like it and tanning helps, benzoyl peroxide and adapalen cream helps to (retinoid) . I use em alternatively one night bp and the other

I have used accutane after running a cycle and it just made things worse. Not to mention the sides like depression and weight loss.

Well I've used Accutane before and never had any kind of side affects. It really is the miracle drug for acne. So I decided it's best to just run Accutane throughout my cycle. Smartest thing to do and really anyone prone to acne should do it unless they have very mild acne and creams work for them.

Another tip for back acne if you have a partner
Get her to rub exfoliating scrub on your back and scrub it with a shower/bath brush, it unblocks those pores really well

This s one of my biggest concerns about starting a cycle is acne. I had it really bad as a teen and it only cleared up with Accutane. I will just have to bite the bullet and do a cycle to see how I react, but I need to be prepared for the worst

I used to try different types of lotions and cleansers but the conclusion I've come to is they alter MY skin too much making it too dry or moist which causes more acne..the solution I've come to is as simple as this..a wet wash rag.right away in the morning and throughout the day I wet a wash rag with hot water and clean more pores and wash off excess oil then rinse with cold water to close my pores up..I almost never get acne anymore and my complexion stays perfect..jmo
