oral everyday dosage?

okay I know this is a novice question but I seem to be confused. if someone said they were going to do 50mg of var a day then that means 50mg once for the whole day even though var has an 8hr half life? or would it 50mg every 8hr to keep the blood levels high? Thank boys

To me that would mean they're taking 50 mg per day. They could be splitting the 50mg dose, but to me that would mean they're only taking 50mg total per day.

If something is to be dosed at 50 mgs per day, it would need to be taken as 50 mgs per 24 hours. What you would have to do is split dose it 25mgs twice per day. Ex. 25 mg morning 25 mg evening.

What about other orals and doses higher than 50mg? Will once a day dosing still work the same?

Well, with larger doses of harsher orals I'd split it up just for peace of mind, with the thought being less of a hepatoxic impact. That said, results wise I still don't think you'll see a difference or find anyone that can actually prove a difference regarding results with either style of dosing.
