First Anavar Only Cycle!
I am a female, 23 years old and going to start my first Anavar only cycle. I have been lifting for 2 years. When I competed in figure Nov. 2014 I realized how much more muscle I need to build and have been working at that ever since. Recently I've been researching about Anavar and decided to give it a try.
I was thinking 5mg a day to start for 2-3 weeks to see how I react to it and then going to 10mg after that. I unfortunately have 50mg pills and dividing them up seems to be a pain in the a$$! Do I have to take 2.5mg 2 times a day or can I just take one 5mg daily? I also take birth control and I am NOT getting off of it. I know birth control counteracts what the Anavar is going to do but I would rather just stay on the pill. As long as I have some results I will be happy!
Also, when is the best time to take it? Before workout, right in the morning?
My diet is pretty strict and I will definitely be stricter when starting this cycle! I am nervous about it but I am looking for a boost in strength and a decrease in bf so I am willing to give this a try!
Any suggestions?!

I have read other threads and done research on it and I have read that other females have gotten results while on both but needed to take a little longer cycle, instead of 6 weeks more like 8-10. In my opinion its not a waste of money because the Anavar will still work just not as much as if I was not taking birth control. It will still give me a boost. My husband had taken Anavar when cutting so not necessarily a waste of money because its his left over! lol

I can't speak on the birth control portion of your question because I don't take any kind of hormone contraceptives. My only concern is that you make sure you have legit anavar and not something else. I know you said your husband has used it, but if its not var it could affect you the differently than it did him. I am always leary when I see 50mg tabs. I would suggest a labmax kit just so you know what you are taking.
I am currently on cycle and I split my doses. I take 10mg at 6am, and 7.5mg pre workout(My doses are high, but I am experienced, and I am gearing up for a powerlifting meet).
Also, you should keep your doses low unless you are competing soon. There is no reason to risk sides if you don't have to. I would say no more than 10mg for 8-10 weeks. You should get nice results provided your diet is on point.
And you should always use some sort of liver aid. I like livercare but most here swear by NAC.Last edited by saymass003; 04-12-2016 at 03:15 PM.

Testing is a must. I didn't and my first cycle was a bomb. Apparently dbol . Unlike sassy, anavar didn't do much for me once I found legit var. however I responded extremely well to primo.
Cycle length is personal. Some run short cycles. Some like long cycles. Personally i found longer cycles more troublesome and counterproductive....because you have to take that much time off between cycles.
I would rather run 4- 6-8 week cycles over 10-12 weeks for several reasons. Sides got more pronounced with time. Hair growth, more easily irritated as time went on, some head hair thinning. It's easier for me to stay focused for 6 weeks then 10-12.
Estrogen and AAS is a crap shoot.
Understand the desire to stay on contraceptives. BC pills introduce estrogen into your system which makes results less predictable.
Personally I hate bc pills so I found an alternative that worked for me. IUD, cervical caps, barrier method...there are other options. Did o mention how much I hated bc pills. Lol

Thanks for the responses!
I am aware about the birth control thing and have been considering getting off of birth control but I am really not sure I want too. If I did get off, would I just stop cold turkey and then be able to start? I feel like it would make my hormones crazy to just stop but i don't know. For my first cycle I think trying it with the birth control and taking low doses would be okay.
I definitely plan on keeping my dosing low. I don't plan on going past 10 mg a day honestly. The guy we got the var from swears by it. States he has taken it and it is definitely var. I want to test it because I definitely don't want dbol in my system.

I probably will do that. After I test the var I have now!
Thanks again!
